Gatlinburg is BEAUTIFUL and the house was nestled up in the mountain about 8-10 minute drive to the town. All of us enjoyed the stay, the house was comfortable. Loved the visiting bears!!! The home was clean, very pretty, and enough space to spread out. We saw bears on the property every day! Lock your cars doors and don’t leave anything in your car! The property was exactly as advertised and very clean. We had a visit from a Mama Bear and 3 cubs between us and neighbors place. Property manager answered call right away and was very helpful when outside key pad did not work. Solved immediately. Would definitely stay again. Fall colors were spectacular 🍁🍂 ##### Caren S. Perhaps the sunset can be seen in winter. We were aware that the roads up from Gatlinburg can be quite steep. We saw bears everyday and a coyote one day. The home was beautiful, the beds were very comfy, bathrooms were clean and updated. I think the best part was relaxing on the deck at the end of the day. It was an awesome stay! ##### Linda W. Family Girls Trip with teenagers to senior citizens. We had a fantastic time. The home is beautiful and has a lot of amenities. The layout is great for larger groups to spend time together. Large deck is wonderful to enjoy the mountains. There were bears in the neighborhood and we saw them daily. Definitely one of the nicest cabin that I have stayed in near Gatlinburg. Would gladly stay here again and recommend to friends and family visiting the area. Things we noted but didn't impact our stay: Some of the furniture in the listing is missing. The dining table only had 8 chairs which worked out for us but thought there would be 10 based on listing pictures. In the entry, there were 3 chairs instead of the 4 in images. The driveway is very steep and would be challenging to navigate in Winter. ##### Lori C. The location is good and easy to get to. There are lots of twists and turns but that’s part of the fun. We saw a mama bear and 3 cubs while driving to the cabin. We had room for everyone (6 adults). We couldn’t have found a better place to stay! Convenient to downtown and to Ober Mtn. Well stocked kitchen was perfect for the few meals we cooked. We had visitors every morning and night. The Bae Chalet is very nice and is exactly as described. For a Midwesterner, the drive to the chalet was a new experience. ##### Archie W. It looked exactly like the photos. There wasnt a staple of seasonings and the toaster was broken but there were plenty of dishes, silverware, knifes, and pots and pans. Had a great time exploring different things this area has to offer. Saw bears from our cabin daily which was delightful and uneasy at the same time. Cabin worked well for us and the three16-year olds loved the jacuzzi and game room area. The home was quiet, clean and beautiful. My only negative was none of the 6 bedrooms have even a small TV. Myself and a few folks in my family need TV/background noise to sleep. Odd such a well maintained and modern home would have zero TVs in any of the bedrooms. I had to use my laptop. Other than that it was wonderful. ##### Emily M. Only 12 minutes from the action. Bears came to visit every day, 2 adults and 3 cubs. The glass windows allowed for safe observation while they were moving around. Tyler and Sophia were great hosts and the cabin was easy to access. When we arrived the place was clean, the beautiful view was relaxing, and the neighborhood was quiet. When we had concerns or questions, the owners were responsive and informative. The home could house plenty and comfortably! This was a fantastic spot for our family overall!
