Staff were friendly and welcoming. The mattress on the bed was very poor and old, you could feel every spring through the sheets. Also the bathroom was over the kitchen and the smell of cooking breakfast woke us early even with the door shut. Not ideal.

Check-in was easy, despite being street-facing the room was very quiet. Perfect location & cutely decorated. Reduced stars for cleanliness - black stains all over the sheets and a moldy growth in the bathroom. The stairs and hall leading to the room were quite grungy as well.

The hotel was in a perfect location for us and a very good price. The beds were comfortable and the shower was good. We were able to store our bags before and after check out which was really good. The room we had was right next to reception and the kitchen and dining room, so there was quite a lot of noise in the mornings and with people arriving back at night.

Fabulous location at the head of the loch, a cheap and chearful hotel that provides a clean bed and reasonable food and is good value.
