"It was a great cabin with a comfy bed and good a/c. It wasn’t quite as close to the river as we hoped but it was accessible. The part of the river it’s on is more muddy on the banks so not really where we’d want to stay put. We mostly did floats so it didn’t matter to us. The check in was a little tricky because we were told we could a bit early but then when we got to the office no one was there and we couldn’t reach anyone for a little while. But not a big deal. Overall a great time!"

"Beautiful property! Very clean with lots of built in outdoor seating. Right on the river. The steps down were not too bad but you definitely get a leg work out coming back up. Plan before you head down to minimize trips. We had 6 adults, 2 children and an infant in our group. There was plenty of space for everyone. Large family room and kitchen was perfect for our group and the high chair and pack and play made it really nice. The downstairs bedrooms get a little warm at night but if you leave all the room doors open it helps a lot. Pack light weight blankets in the warmer months. The window unit A/C in the second floor master works great. You might want a heavier blanket if you’re staying up there. I got cold but my husband said it was perfect. The kitchen has just about everything you’ll need as far as dishes and appliances but bring a blender if you want to mix drinks. The kids had a great time at the river and there is plenty of space for littles to play but also some deeper spaces for the adults to jump in. My grandkids already want to go back and we just left. Property management takes their time going over all the details for the property and are quick to respond if you have any questions. All in all it was perfect for our family trip. The only regret I have is not being able to stay longer."

The home had everything we needed and more..The extra touches such as supplies you need but "forgot to bring" was over the top! we have stayed in many properties over the years and nothing can evn compare.The walkability to the river was perfect... Our family will never EVER forget this trip! Glam and Grit Texas style!...WE LOVED EVERY SECOND!"

"We came with our grown grandchildren for a little vacation and to enjoy the Frio. We had so much fun. Walking distance to the river made it easy to access. The amenities are awesome with TV in each bedroom, 2.5 bathrooms, beautiful front and back porch with plenty sitting areas, nice clean grill, beautiful scenery and a hammock that I enjoyed laying in every day. The birds enjoyed the bird feeders and even saw some humming birds. Short distance to Garner State Park the we also went to and enjoyed some hiking trails while there. This place is awesome. Thank so much for the hospitality that made us feel all the comforts of home. The McDonald family"
