"This property is wonderful! There was a back door to our room that led directly to the beach, and the picture window from our room gave us a wonderful, unobstructed view of the ocean and the sunset. There was a separate dining table and chairs next to the window so that we could enjoy a meal and the ocean view at the same time. Staff was friendly and helpful. And the lobby had a selection of unique teas choose from. The refrigerator in our unit wasn't properly cleaned prior to our arrival. When you opened it it gave of a strong fish smell that permeated the room. But front desk staff was responsive to my comments about it and immediately sent someone to take care of this. I gave this property a low score for environmental awareness due to the single use toiletries that were in the bathroom. It would be nice if they could find a way to eliminate those in the future. All being said, I'm hopeful that I will have the opportunity to stay here again, and would recommend this hotel to all travelers. "

"Theyvwere painting the building when i arrived. Neil made my stay as hospitable as possible. The location is great. The hotel is right at the beach. This is an older motel. Im willing to trade price for location. The staff is great and i love the view and location. I will return"

"Nice, clean, comfortable room. very quiet, even with my room being near stairwell. free breakfast was good. staff all very friendly. only objection was, parking was small, as I drive a full size pickup truck. "

"We had a great experience at the Wheeler Marina, clean, well appointed and they provided movies and a selection of breakfast foods the night before. We also found a terrific dinner spot called the “Night Owl!” The rockfish special was amazing. "
