Good value hotel

Posted 22-Jul-2017
Pros: Good location. Good value for money
Cons: Air conditioning/fan in room.
Location: Very close to metro and Gare du Nord. Sacre Coeur close by- comfortable walk.
My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights. Hotel staff professional and friendly. The room was compact but very clean and room service provided daily. Clean towels daily. Shower was a good size and had two shower heads. The one negative is that whilst the bed was comfortable, there was no air conditioning which resulted in little sleep and discomfort due to the heat ( we visited in July). We had to leave the window open so no respite from the city noise. Having said all that, the hotel was close to the Gare du Nord, and metro station, so easy access to all sights. Several restaurants close by. Hotel does offer breakfast at an additional cost but we didn't use it.They also offer free storage of bags after checkout which allowed us to enjoy the last morning of our trip, without having to carry our bags with us.

Full of dust and poor facilites

Posted 22-Jul-2017
We book to stay for 3 nights. There is no air condition, iron, bolier and etc. in the room. The towels which renewed everyday were full of fluff. Fam and Iron are limited which we were asking for iron for three days. We got fan on the 2nd day. Unfortunately, no one return an iron and we havnt got it. Room is full of dust which make my health condition was geting worst. We asked to change the room for two days but staffs ignored. Both day time amd night time, there are ambulances everywhere which we have to open the window and could not sleep well. We got a very bad experience in Paris becuase of this hotel.

Great location, no air con

Posted 22-Jul-2017
Staff where great, room was fine. Small but clean. It was super hot when we stayed, it was hard to sleep. Staff gave us a fan. I would definitely stay here again, but not in summer. Easy to get to from euro star and great public bus links to everywhere.

Great hotel close to main train station

Really enjoyed our stay here, walking distance to lots of major tourist attractions and 3 mins walk to Gare du Nord for RER and Metro connections.

Staff/horrible!

Posted 30-Jun-2017
Arrived at 8:45 PM.....and our rm was not ready. The desk attendant could not have cared less....seriously. Could not get a simple straight answer as to 'when' the rm would be ready. We ended up going to dinner and left our bags by front desk hoping they would be there when we returned. Aside from location To Eorostar which is why we booked it to begin with (early morning London departure) not recommend.

Comfortable modestly priced hotel

Posted 05-Jun-2017
Pros: Price, breakfast, cleanliness, staff
Cons: Lift could be up-dated
Location: Close to Gare du Nord with choice of restaurant facilities of various price levels close by. Easy access by Metro or bus to all Paris sights
Very convenient for Gare du Nord. Very comfortable triple room ideal for two adults and one child. Excellent staff - always friendly and helpful. Breakfast basic but plentiful and fresh. Cleaning of room and replenishment of towels etc was excellent. Limited bar service operated from reception desk unusual for a hotel in this price range but very welcome. Free bottle of water a nice touch, especially in hot weather. Overall this hotel does exactly what it says on the tin.

Convenient, cheap and friendly but that's it

Posted 07-May-2017
I needed a place close to Gare du Nord, and it's 2 minutes walk from there. It was cheap (and even cheaper thanks to a Eurostar deal) and the staff was really friendly. But that's about it. It's what you usually expect from a small hotel close to a train station, with a clunky lift and a humid claustrophobic room. But it was also fairly clean and, at the end of the day, if all you need is a bed for the 5-6 hours you spend in the room, it works well.
