Excellent B&B in ideal location
Excellent stay, well worth the money and in an ideal quiet location within walking distance of city centre and coast, or use the regular bus service if you don't want to walk. Can't fault the room and service from Tony and family, although it would be nice to have a kettle in the room itself. A++

The staff was very helpful when we needed anything. It’s located in a quiet neighborhood and parking right up front. However; if there’s too many cars in the parking area; it can be a little bit of struggle to get out. There’s a bus stop right out in front that goes straight to the city center.

A little gem in Salthill
We stayed here for 4 nights to use as a base to visit Galway and the surrounding area. Our hosts were very friendly and welcoming. We had a beautiful freshly cooked breakfast each morning. Our room was spotless and we had a front room overlooking the little garden with beautiful roses. We were a 5 minute walk from Salthill and 10 minute walk from Galway, perfectly situated.

Excellent two-night stay at St, Judes, Host was very friendly and helpful, A great guest house as a base to explore the Galway city and county. a very generous breakfast is served to you personally and all the food is fresh. I would recommend St, Judes for a quiet place to get a good nights sleep and a great place to relax.

Wild Atlantic Way Getaway
Lovely stay away here for two nights. Cleanliness was to a high standard given the current COVID19 situation with temperature checks on arrival. Hosts were really helpful supplying us with local tips on our daily trips and the breakfast was brilliant and anything we wanted was provided on request.

Wonderful B&B
This is a wonderful B&B! It is conveniently located near Salthill and the main square in Galway. It's a short walk to Salthill, which is a small area that has some good restaurants.....check out Beetle Cat! Galway main square is a 20+ minute walk or a short cab ride. The property itself is great too! Room was very comfortable. The host even packed us a breakfast to go since we had to leave early in the morning.

The house was beautiful and the food was delicious. The houses location was great - far enough from the busy of Galway but close enough to enjoy a nice walk along the beach.

Lovely B&B. Very nice owner. It was very hot when we were there, so without A/C, it was a bit uncomfortable at night. However, everything else was great.

Great Location in Galway
My daughter and I were in Galway for one night. St. Judes was a perfect place to stay. It was a gorgeous almost 100 year old house with elegant details. Our room was very comfortable although the bathroom was a bit small. Our breakfast was excellent. It is very convenient to the downtown area. We caught the bus right out front to get into town.

Wonderful B&B! A little bit of a walk from the city center, but worth it for the peace and quiet and oh so lovely rooms! After nearly 2 weeks traveling Ireland, St. Judes was really an oasis. Would definitely stay again! Thank you Tony and Ita for a grand weekend.

Beautifully kept and family owned. Very kind and gracious family. About a mile walking to the city centre or there's a bus directly in front of the property if you don't want to walk. Parking on site if you need it. Comfortable beds and a very unexpected incredible breakfast experience. If you're coming to Galway , make it a point to spend at least one night here.

Wonderful B&B in quaint/safe part of Galway city
We absolutely loved this B&B in a quiet area of Galway city. We arrived with family in the evening and were promptly shown to our two (2) rooms. The rooms were very clean, warm, and wonderfully decorated/appointed. The beds were very comfortable, best we had in 8 nights around Ireland. The staff was very helpful in finding a dinner venue, and the breakfast was well done and served quickly and graciously. Even the parking lot was quite accommodating, as we had a large vehicle and it was easily maneuvered there. Our young son mistakenly left his spectacles in the room and when we realized it, we called and they had just been discovered by the staff... who graciously offered to post them to our daughter in Cork for carry back to the States, as we had traveled far from Galway with no plans to return. For a family of 5, the value provided for the price was excellent. All in our family agreed that we wished we could have stayed there at least one more night!

Comfortable & Convenient
We had a lovely stay at St. Jude's! The hosts were very friendly and the room was clean and spacious with lovely decorative touches. The b&b was a 15 minute walk from town which was perfect as it meant we were away from the noise. Additionally breakfast was yummy. Would highly recommend for a stay in Galway!

We had a lovely stay at St Judes. Ita and Tony (and the rest of the staff) were friendly and helpful. We had the 2 rooms on the top floor at the front and although I was a little worried about street noise, that was not an issue at all. It's an old house, so you can hear toilets and people moving around in the rooms next door, but luckily I think everyone at the time we were there were respectful of each other. The rooms were clean and the beds very comfortable. The breakfast menu is excellent with a wide selection from cereals and yogurt to a full Irish cooked breakfast, french toast, porridge, etc. We felt spoilt for choice! I'd definitely stay at St Judes again.

Warm, gracious B&B near Galway
My husband and I stayed at St. Jude's for two nights and despite the cold and windy weather we really enjoyed our time there. We received a warm welcome and were shown to our room, which was on the second floor, and was small but extremely nice. One of the many amenities the inn offered is heated towel bars in the bathroom, and a roomy shower. Breakfast was held in the dining room overlooking the front of the inn, and service was friendly and prompt. Our modified Irish Breakfasts were delicious. The inn is located about a five minute walk to the village of Salthill, but about 15 minutes from the Spanish Arches in Galway. A bus into Galway stops right next to the inn. Due to the uncooperative weather, we mostly visited pubs in Salthill (see reviews for O'Connor's and The Office elsewhere) as well as the Galway City Museum and the Wine and Food Festival. Overall, we found our visit to St. Jude's to be extremely relaxing, and the staff and service were both gracious. On the last morning there, we had to leave early so they prepared breakfasts to take with us on the road. We highly recommend St. Jude's

Very comfortable B & B about five minutes from the sea. Old fashioned furnishings but the beds were comfortable. Nothing fancy but a clean place with a good breakfast. It was a 15 minute walk into town so we usually walked there and took a cab back. Galway is such a lovely and charming place. Great pubs and friendly people. I could do without all the outdoor smoking, but that seems to be common in Europe.

Lovely inn with a great location!
A great place to walk to the beach and the city centre. It was nice to park our car there and never need it until we left. The inn is also on the bus route. The inn is lovely, the owners/staff friendly, and the food delicious. The bed was very comfortable and we all slept very well. Some rooms are upstairs and you will need to carry suitcases up them so you may want to request a room downstairs if that's a need. Great place for the price! We would stay there again in a heartbeat!
