Nice hotel close to Eyre Square and Quay Street

Posted 05-Sep-2016
Cons: Room decor and would have preferred a view.
Nice hotel conveniently located one block from bus station (took bus from Dublin airport to hotel) and walking distance to Eyre Square and Quay Street for fun pubs, restaurants and great shopping! Friendly, helpful staff. Room was nice, clean, and comfortable, but no view and pretty generic. Great breakfast at hotel restaurant and bar on-site, but we preferred venturing to popular Quay Street for pub action and live music (five-minute walk). Worked well for us to go from here to the Cliffs of Moher in Galway by just walking across the street to the bus station and the bellman even helped bring our bags to the station. Much appreciated as we had too much stuff! Would recommend staying here again, but other cute hotels and B & B's are also located right in the thick of Quay Street if you prefer being smack in the middle of the action. If you prefer to walk five minutes for a quieter night, Park House Hotel is perfect.

Charming European style hotel close to shopping an

Posted 31-Aug-2016
Our one night stay was comfortable as the room was clean and European. The hotel was busy! with lots of guests enjoying tea and drinks in the lobby! Parking is a bit tricky, as it is behind the hotel. Once we found it, it was easy to access. The room was spacious, but a bit dated. Staff was friendly and the small town of Galway is full of life, restaurants, entertainers, and shops.
