Location perfetta, colazione da migliorare

Posted 21-Aug-2016

Great hotel in perfect location

Posted 04-Aug-2016
We had an enjoyable stay. Front desk staff were awesome - welcoming, pleasant. When we had questions, they were more than willing to assist us. Housekeeping & the restaurant staff were also very friendly and helpful. Breakfast buffet is plentiful , nicely displayed and always restocked with fresh food. Rooms were a good size however we found our beds soft. Bar and restaurant at the front of the hotel. The location is A+. Steps away from the action of Latin Quarter where we had many good meals , pub evenings or just sauntered. Also walking distance to many other places of interest.

Great location

Fabulous location for tourists, restaurants, shops and entertainment on your doorstep. Hotel staff were friendly and engaged in conversation. The buffet style breakfast was tasty and there was a good selection to choose from. The room was clean and modern. Disappointed over the parking arrangements, a public car park next door. The €10 advertised covers you from 6pm till 9am, anything over and additional charges apply. There was also a tourist bus that looked like a train that was sometimes parked in the drop off area outside the hotel. This made it really difficult to unload bags when we arrived as the hotel is situated on the main road into Galway. Overall happy with the hotel and would stay here again.

Hotel is located within walking distance of most sites. Quiet hotel even though it is in busy area. Our room had a view of the river which was lovely. Breakfast was quite nice with good selection.

great location

Posted 18-Jul-2016
Pros: Location
Cons: Having a mini fridge would be nice but it seems like all the hotels in Ireland lack this.
Location: Prime location to several restaurants, pubs and shops.
This hotel is in a great location. Walk out the door and you are facing the Latin district one way and the other leads to the Sandhill beach area. It is gorgeous all around the hotel. Prime location for restaurants, pubs, shops, cafe's etc. I would 100% stay here again. the staff were very friendly and helpful with anything, the room was clean and comfortable. This hotel is within walking distance to the train and bus station as well.

Pleasant Stay in Galway

Posted 11-Jul-2016
Pros: The location was good with lots of restaurants, shopping and pubs close by. There was a great little breakfast place across from the hotel as well.
Cons: The breakfast could start earlier than 8:00 a.m. and it would be nice to have a clock in the room. The lighting in the room seemed dark.
Location: Plenty of restaurants and shopping within walking distance of this hotel.
We stayed at the Jurys Inn Galway for three nights. The stay was pleasant, the breakfast buffet was good, the room was nice and the location was great. One negative was while our room on the first floor had a wonderful view of the Bay, it was quite loud at night - until at least 3:00 a.m. There is a parking garage attached to the hotel but it was difficult navigating in our VW Caddy so We parked in the public lot which was a short walk from the hotel.

great location a bit out of busy city of dublin

Posted 05-Jul-2016
Pros: Dublin is a "party town" so a bit outside of town is a little walk but quiet our room was beautiful with a corner spot (two windows)parking was handy
Cons: required a "top sheet" only a duvet
Location: famine ship and the city
booked an extra night so we headed directly to breakfast then a nap
