Perfect easy stay

Posted 21-May-2017
Pros: Location, laid back and casual, safe, walkable. Super views.
Location: Can walk to everything and right on the water. Nice cafe beneath the Spanish Arch just across the way.
Nice quiet spot well positioned for exploring Galway on foot. Staff was attentive and the views were lovely.

Very nice property. Well located; easy walking distance to train station, city center; and cathedral. Staff professional and efficient. Very pleasant stay. Galway is a great, small city and a great location for visiting Cliffs of Moher and Aran islands.

Loved the location!

Posted 14-May-2017
The hotel was clean and modern and very good value based on all the similar type of accommodations we stayed at during our Ireland visit. We were in room 118 facing the bay. It was bright and spacious and had sufficient noise reduction from the windows if one chose to have the windows closed - which we did not so we could hear a lot of street traffic as well as the party-goers late into the night. The location was superb - close to the main Claddah shopping area, Salthill and Galway Bay. Other rooms faced the gardens and river. On a nice day, this is also a nice place to take a pint from the hotel pub, bring outside and socialize with all the others doing the same thing - there is ample space to sit at the picnic benches.

Too little hot water, our phone didn't work

Pros: The staff was great!
Cons: Bigger rooms and toiletries that were not in dispensers
Location: Location was excellent in the center of things
Location and staff were the best things here. And the city of Galway was really wonderful.

Galway

Posted 27-Apr-2017
Pros: The location.
Cons: I suggest that those two hotel rooms next to the employee entrance and restaurant be used for something else.
Location: Next to restaurants of a very nice city
We stayed in Jurys Inn, Galway only one of 3 nights in Galway. We arrive early evening and were given a room, in the first floor, next to the restaurant and next to an entrance for the hotel employees. This was OK until the next morning when people were having breakfast and employees coming in to work. The room was fine/clean but had an inconvenience: it did not have independent temperature control.

Great location. Great service.

Located right before bridge. Close to main streets, restaurants, and music. Only complaints are 1) the breakfast was a bit expensive for what it was, 2) they don't provide washcloths, and 3) they don't provide a bed sheet, other than the fitted sheet.
