Great location decent room

Posted 14-May-2016
The hotel is in a great location to be able to walk around and enjoy Galway. The room is decent and clean. Fairly standard. The included breakfast was good and an easy way to start the day. Parking was 10 euro per night. I would stay here again.

Great location!

Posted 20-Apr-2016
We stayed 2 nights in a family room with our one and half year old and three year old. The room. Was a good size for us all and a request for a travelcot was quickly dealt with by the friendly staff(purely as a suggestion to other parents with similar age kids. .get 2 rooms for your own sanity!) Location is superb just by the Spanish arches with east access to all the local restaurants and bars....you could also easily walk to salthill if you wanted. Parking was great as it was next door though you have to pay at a discounted rate of €10 a night. Overall great hotel with friendly staff and excellent buffet breakfast....will stay again :-)

Great Position

Posted 13-Apr-2016
Pros: Everything it suited us so well.
Cons: Can't think of anything.
Location: As mentioned the Latin Quarter, pub after pub, restaurant after restaurant , with music inside and buskers out. Plenty of shops as well.
Stayed at this hotel for 4 nights, there may have been a cheaper or more up market hotel in Galway. In our humble opinion, this one couldn't have been in a better position. It;s always nice to be by a river which this one was, but to come out at night and only have a few steps, before you were in the Latin Quarter, a truly magical place was the icing on the cake.

Great location, untrained staff...

Posted 03-Apr-2016
This is a fantastic location, and despite tons of young partiers, the rooms are quiet. The pillows are rock hard and the comforters are poly-nasty. It's clean. Okay, here's the worst part. The front desk folks know nothing! I asked what would be good for children, and outside of the aquarium - they had nothing to say. I asked if Galway Bay brewery had a pub - nope says the staff - I found out the have three, the best being Salt Bar. Asked for an off-the-beaten track restaurant where locals eat, and they pointed out three touristy spots. Don't ask - rely on recommendations from locals you meet at the pub! Had a blast, and forged our own way.

Great location, right in the heart of Galway City.

Nice view of the River Corrig and the Spanish Atch. Walking distance of all the best shopping Galway City has to offer along with restaurants and pubs. The staff was very professional and accommodating.

Minimal Amenities, but otherwise excellent!

Posted 23-Mar-2016
Pros: Location!!! Cleanliness, general upkeep, breakfast, and the staff also made my stay very pleasant. Free WiFi throughout was nice.
Cons: Better speed on the complementary WiFi would be nice ...
Location: On a nice day, I recommend a walk to the water towards Salt Hill. Also, I had a fantastic meal at Ard Bia. Pura Vida is good for a quick coffee.
Loved my stay at the Jurys. It was clean, the staff exceptionally friendly, and breakfast was great. The fact that there is free WiFi throughout is nice, though it can be clunky if you don't upgrade (I didn't). The bar is a little uninteresting, but the courtyard is a brilliant place to have a pint or glass of wine if the weather is nice. The absolutely best part, though, is the location of the Jury! Brilliantly close to all the action and hence, who cares about amenities? Who wants to waste time in the hotel if you've got Galway to see!
