Great location

Posted 22-Jul-2016
Fabulous location for tourists, restaurants, shops and entertainment on your doorstep. Hotel staff were friendly and engaged in conversation. The buffet style breakfast was tasty and there was a good selection to choose from. The room was clean and modern. Disappointed over the parking arrangements, a public car park next door. The €10 advertised covers you from 6pm till 9am, anything over and additional charges apply. There was also a tourist bus that looked like a train that was sometimes parked in the drop off area outside the hotel. This made it really difficult to unload bags when we arrived as the hotel is situated on the main road into Galway. Overall happy with the hotel and would stay here again.

Close to everything.

Hotel is located within walking distance of most sites. Quiet hotel even though it is in busy area. Our room had a view of the river which was lovely. Breakfast was quite nice with good selection.

great location

Posted 18-Jul-2016
Pros: Location
Cons: Having a mini fridge would be nice but it seems like all the hotels in Ireland lack this.
Location: Prime location to several restaurants, pubs and shops.
This hotel is in a great location. Walk out the door and you are facing the Latin district one way and the other leads to the Sandhill beach area. It is gorgeous all around the hotel. Prime location for restaurants, pubs, shops, cafe's etc. I would 100% stay here again. the staff were very friendly and helpful with anything, the room was clean and comfortable. This hotel is within walking distance to the train and bus station as well.

Pleasant Stay in Galway

Posted 11-Jul-2016
Pros: The location was good with lots of restaurants, shopping and pubs close by. There was a great little breakfast place across from the hotel as well.
Cons: The breakfast could start earlier than 8:00 a.m. and it would be nice to have a clock in the room. The lighting in the room seemed dark.
Location: Plenty of restaurants and shopping within walking distance of this hotel.
We stayed at the Jurys Inn Galway for three nights. The stay was pleasant, the breakfast buffet was good, the room was nice and the location was great. One negative was while our room on the first floor had a wonderful view of the Bay, it was quite loud at night - until at least 3:00 a.m. There is a parking garage attached to the hotel but it was difficult navigating in our VW Caddy so We parked in the public lot which was a short walk from the hotel.

Nice hotel rt in the middle of the Main Street. Located attached to parking garage and close to the river. Great for the price

The hotel is in a great location - it is near shopping, bars and restaurants. My only complaint was the bed sagged in the middle which made it not very comfortable for two people to sleep.

Comfortable Inn near the water and nightlife

Posted 13-Jun-2016
The Inn is located near the water for a nice romantic scene and is at the end of the main walkways in Gallway. So there is plenty of local shops, pubs and restaurants. The staff were all inviting and had great suggestions for local restaurants. The rooms were not glamorous but very comfortable. There is a charming garden area at the hotel. Went there for our honeymoon and couldn't have asked for anything more.

Comfortable room in the ideal location

Posted 06-Jun-2016
Pros: Location, Services, Amenities
Cons: Air conditioning
Location: Hotel is at the foot of restaurant row, overlooking a canal not far from the public park/beach
Service was great, and the location and amenities were fantastic. I just wished we had air conditioning: it was apparently unseasonably warm when we were there in late May.
