Sitting on over 5 acres, this stunning spanish-style home offers an ideal escape for families seeking both privacy and convenience, with the beach and bay just minutes away. With 6 bedrooms, 3 full baths, two living spaces, a game room, huge chef’s kitchen and private pool, fun times are ahead at Casa Oceana! ● WINTER TEXAN RATE: Escape to the Texas Gulf Coast this winter! Ask about our reduced monthly rates October 1 - March 1\. ● Location: West end of Galveston Island, Texas ● Beach Access: Less than a 5 minute drive from multiple west end beaches. ● Private Pool: This home features a large in-ground pool with a spacious patio for lounging. ● Rent BeachBox: Beach gear rentals are available! Ask us for details and rates. ● WIFI/Cable: We provide free high-speed WIFI and Roku with access to Sling TV for live television channels. If you do, you will risk the AC unit freezing up, requiring it to thaw out which will result in the home getting extremely warm. \- The homeowner\`s routine pool maintenance cannot be rescheduled and is required for the health and safety of our guests. Other than that, the house was just disgusting. As soon as you walk in, you’re greeted by an overwhelming scent of mildew. There were cobwebs all throughout the house. Everything was dusty. Luckily we were only staying for one night. We were a family of 25 traveling through Galveston to board a cruise. The photos and post made the house seem beautiful and welcoming but that is far from the truth! The kids were excited to go for a night swim however we could not even open the sliding door. There were huge rats running around outside. This house was a complete waste of money and we would not recommend this stay to anyone. The bathrooms were dingy, dark, smelly and gross. This house is not livable let alone appropriate for anyone to stay one night. We messaged the host as soon as we got to the house and they responded quickly with just a generic I’m sorry email.
