While the bedrooms are small they are quirky and well appointed. And you can treat the whole common areas of the hotel as your comfortable home. "I’d like to say thank you for the staff but the hotel needs to make sure about the manager’s approach with the whole crew. It’s not about working by pressure but work happy. It’s not about you have a perfect service but it’s about to see no pressure in the staff’s eyes. If any guest ask to perfection and the solution will be pressure, that’s clear to no work."

"This is a Beautiful old Villa right in the heart of Galle Fort. Room was amazing very generous in size and beautifully styled in colonial manner, huge balcony and excellent bathroom leading off the balcony all 100% private we loved it ! A beautiful small pool which I enjoyed a lot. Full service for fools and beverage should it be required. Breakfast was a real treat served in the dining area overlooking the garden and pool. Staff were 1st rate and helped make the stay special. I will be back !"

"This place is a gem. The location is PERFECT, beautiful shops and restaurants right on your doorstep and close to the fort. Its in a lovely historic building with the most beautiful woodwork and interior. We had the family room which had two large and comfortable beds. The internet works fantastically - I was able to do a zoom call for work with no issues or delays. Lovely kind staff."
