We pulled in out of blizzard, and ended up staying for 2 nights. The suite was spacious and comfortable. The full kitchen facility was very helpful for such an unexpected stay at this hotel. And, the living area was very spacious for a little one to run around. I would highly recommend and will look for staying in another Hyatt House in the future. Breakfast was very well served as well.
With the very low price of this one night stay, I wasn't expecting to be blown away by service/amenities/room quality. The room was just fine, however the bathroom seemed to have a bit more wear than other hotels I've stayed at. Nevertheless, suited my needs perfectly.
It was impossible to get in touch with any person other than the operator! No one answers their phones and you are kicked to a voice message telling you the same thing! Hotel is clean but beat up and has absouloutly the loudest housekeeping staff especially in the morning when they are suppose to clean the rooms but loud conversation are the norm making it impossible to sleep or make a conference call. Room coffee setup is often missing one or another ingredients and hotels restaurant/bar is operated like very limited concession stand. Overall you can find a better place cheaper.
It's in the middle of a small but nice higher-end shopping district. Everything is right there within a short walking distance: good and diverse restaurants to choose from, a bookstore, a movie theater and a department store. Free Parking in all the parking garages. The hotel staff was very corteous. We absolutely loved it!!! We highly recommend it.
The hotel satisfied our needs on our recent trip to visit DC. We were out and about most of the time so
were not looking for too many amenities. The room was clean and the kitchen was functional. Each of
the bedrooms had a TV which was nice and the free Wi-Fi in the unit was a boon for my kids with their
ipads and laptops. I read a few complaints about train noise on other reviews but this turned out to be
minor (and actually sort of charming). The parking was ample and close to the room. Location wise,
its true what others said about being to far to walk to anywhere but the stores/markets were just 5 minutes
away by car and the freeway was easily accessible. Also, the staff were friendly and quite professional.
The only negatives were perhaps the 2 bdrm being a trifle small for our family and the beds a tad too soft
for those with back issues.
This Maryland city of 60,000 is home to a historic Old Town, new urban communities, high-rise apartments, and subdivisions. Several corporations are based here, as are the headquarters of the United States Humane Society.
