This dream property offers three suites with double bed, private bathroom and balcony with a superb view, on the upper floor. Still in this area of the house, you will find a room equipped for physical exercise, a games room, and an outdoor area with a lounge space. On the lower floor, the fully equipped kitchen, dining room, living area and office area in open space provide a feeling of great space and comfort. On this floor, there is also a guest toilet and access is made to the outside, where you will find a pleasant garden, an infinity pool (with possibility of being heated), sun loungers, a relaxation area and a dining area. The sublime view of the sea and Funchal, as well as the fantastic sunset, provide an atmosphere of serenity and tranquility for those looking to enjoy a totally revitalizing stay. This property offers a very comfortable family environment and all the necessary amenities for an unforgettable stay. Maximum capacity for 6 people. Wi-Fi available in all areas of the house. Private garage for 2 cars. AREA The property is located in Lazareto, a very quiet and sunny area, just minutes away from the Funchal city center. It is close to the Miradouro do Lazareto (viewpoint), Barreirinha’s beach, Forte de São Tiago, Funchal-Monte cable car, Lavradores Market, restaurants, bars, local shops and other services. In Funchal's city center there are several touristic points of interest and information about cultural activities, radical activities, and nature-related activities, whatever the purpose of your visit to Madeira Island. GETTING AROUND The best option to get to the property will be the transfer. Ask us to book one with our local partners. It is cheaper than the taxis you find at the airport. If you rent a car, any navigation app can easily find the address. ACCESS TO PROPERTY You have access to all areas of the property. INTERACTION We are always available to help or answer questions. We do our best to reply all requests. We also have an app for guests with all the important information about the property and other useful information for your stay. OTHER OBSERVATIONS \- According to Portuguese law, all guests are required to present a valid ID. (passport or identity card). \- Check-in hour must be scheduled in advance. We can also put a baby cot, a high chair and a baby bath if needed, but you should request. There are a first aid kit, extinguishers and fire blanket in the property. Generally well equipped with a good room layout, even if kitchen is isolated from other living areas. Narrow, steep access with weeds increasingly growing out through the brickwork. The pool is wonderful and a perfect temperature. We stayed for 1 month. Beatrice met us at the house and responded to our questions quickly. The cleaning crew came in once a week which was fantastic We were not prepared for how steep and narrow the roads were in our area, but it appears to be the norm. The Villa itself is spacious and well equipped, with an excellent stereo system and aside from having more light switches than one could count, it was difficult to fault. A few minor additions; more tea towels, better pillows etc would be helpful but didn't detract from our enjoyment. Outside, the pool is a very good size...around 5ft deep and the kids loved it. It was heated but could do with being a little warmer, especially in the morning. Some parasols would be useful, there isn't really anywhere to hide from the lunchtime sunshine. The view is exceptional and having dinner out on the terrace (Uber deliver) looking over Funchal is difficult to beat. The location is around 2km to 3km from the centre of Funchal down a reasonably steep hill so Taxis were essential to keep the kids happy but were reasonably easy to arrange and only cost circa 7 to 10 euros each way. An Island Apart were excellent, always available via Whatsapp and I would certainly recommend them. Our first day we arrived to the A/C sounding like a jack hammer was on the roof. We were told we would get a 10% discount or could vacate the property 2 hours after our arrival. ( This issue was no surprise to them!) Where could we find a 3 bed, 3 bath house for 10 days? The management company jerked us around for 3 days. I finally accepted their 10% discount to not ruin our vacation. They entered the property while we were not there without our consent. The house is in major need of upkeep. Horrible warped, lifting floor and plaster falling off the walls.The only positive is the pool and the view. It was beautiful.I chose to remain at the property because I had no other option.
