Its interior space has been maximised to offer the utmost comfort, combined with modern and tasteful décor, meeting all your expectations. The flat has a double bed, bathroom with shower and an equipped kitchenette. The property is fully equipped to make you feel at home! THE NEIGHBORHOOD OVERVIEW Guests have easy access to several restaurants (there is a small cafe just outside the building), shops, shopping centre and supermarket. This flat is situated very close to the famous Farmers’ Market (Mercado dos Lavradores), the historic centre of Funchal (locally known as ‘Zona Velha’) and the Cathedral. From here you can explore by foot many of the main tourist attractions of our beautiful town. (e.g. The Cable Car, Funchal Marina, CR7 Museum, Madeira Wine Lodge, etc ...) Barreirinha Beach is about twenty minutes' walk away, where you can relax and dip into the crystal clear waters of the island. GETTING AROUND Although a aerobus bus stop for airport arrivals and departures is within four minutes walk distance from the flat, we recommend the private transfer service as the best option to get there. Contact us in advance to schedule a private transfer car with our local partners. It is cheaper than taking a taxi by your own in the airport! GUEST ACCESS Guests have access to all areas of the flat. INTERACTION WITH GUESTS We are always at your disposal to help or to answer your questions. You can contact us via our mobile numbers or by email. We will do our best to meet your requests. OTHER OBSERVATIONS \- According to Portuguese law, all guests are required to present a valid ID. Clean, comfortable apartment with good facilities and kitchen appliances/utensils. Very noisy throughout the night and early morning because it’s right on the main road. Situated in the heart of the city center, it boasts proximity to both the old city and the harbor, making it incredibly convenient for exploring Funchal. The aparthotel offers all the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay, and a huge plus was having a laundry machine conveniently located within the building. The location couldn't have been better, with a supermarket just around the corner and all the main attractions practically at our doorstep. Communication with the host (Joana) was excellent, she even has purchased a new bottle opener. It is also handy that you received the keys via the keybox so you can arrive any time of the day. Even though there is no one-on-one contact with the host, every guest receives their own personal cabinet with the check-in/out details, necessary codes as well as all the manuals and FAQ's by the hand. ##### Iryna D.
