Really great hotel - love it
We loved staying at Enotel Quinta del Sol. The service was really good, personnel super friendly and helpful. We had few special requests, which were all met. The room was spacious and there was absolutely stunning view from our ocean view room. Definitely worth the additional rate. Breakfast buffet was amazing. Huge variety of items as well as custom prepared omelets. Very nice location, 10-15 minutes walk from the old city.

Excellent position within Funchal with a gentle 15 minute walk into the centre of town. Great restaurants near so that you don't have to walk all the way in. Heated pool for lounging in and an outdoor pool with loungers. Super service from all the staff. All areas were kept really clean. Bathrooms look a little tired but perfectly okay. This is one of the best hotels we have stayed in. Breakfast excellent.
