I stayed at the Mars Garden because of reviews from others. It lived up to its reputation! The rooms were clean and decent sized for Japan. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Check in and check out is so easy. It is very close to Hakata station. There are 3 combini 1-3 minutes away.

We stayed for 6 days and each day our room was replenished with anything we used the previous night and maintained clean each day. The location of this hotel is super convenient. Less than 100 yards to Hakata Station and loads of restaurants and places to shop.

Staff are polite. Location is good - just 2 minutes from JR Harkata station. Room is clean but it is very small. It is a headache for us to put two 26-inches luggage on the floor. They have cleaning service every morning.

Not a good experience
We stayed in a Triple room for 6 nights. The room is small even it is a triple room. The cleanliness was really bad, can't believe it is in Japan. This is the first time I feel bad in term of cleanliness of a hotel in Japan. The rubbish was still in the same place, the hair in still on the floor when we came back at night. I don't think they have done the cleaning, not even using a vacuum cleaner or cloth. Talked to the staff, no improvement and their staff doesn't understand English, I need to type in Google Translate App and show them in Japanese to express what I mean. Location is good as it is near Hakata Station. The breakfast was not ok too. Last time I stayed in

Everything was going well except when it came to the service of the staff. The people at the front desk barely spoke English and were not very helpful. During the last day of our stay, I asked one person in the front desk to store something in the freezer because it needed to be frozen and she replied that it was okay as long as it is within the day as we have already checked out. I came back a few hours later only to discover that it was not placed in the freezer but in the luggage area with all the other bags (it was in an eco bag). They did not even apologize and stared at me blankly as if they didn’t know what to do.

The hotel is very modern, clean, secure and full of amenities The room is nicely decorated with lights open windows and enough outlets near the airport and the Hakata station is a minute walking distance next to it a great Italian restaurant

Location is good & easy access, 3-5 minutes to underground, JR station & bus terminal. Staffs are nice & polite. Room is clean but a bit small. Will stay again & recommend to others.

Close to Hakata train station and convenient for shopping. Other major Hakata attractions (e.g. Canal city or Nakasu) is withini 25 min walk (a bit long, but ok).

Great hotel
Had a great stay at this hotel. It’s very convenient as it’s right next to the station. It’s a bit hard to find as it’s tucked in between other places and easy to miss. Although the room is on the smaller size, it’s decent compared to a standard Japanese hotel. The rooms are recently renovated which more than makes up for the size. Staff is good. Overall a great stay in a great city.
