Nice and cozy

Posted 23-Feb-2017
Nice hotel. Across from CSU-Fresno. Various places to eat within walking distance. Room was nice and spacious. Bathroom was nice, spacious shower. Staff was very nice. Free breakfast was ok. Only bad thing is one washing machine and one dryer for all guest to use. Other than that, I'd recommend it and stay again

Stay away

Posted 18-Feb-2017
Never again. I would sleep in my car before I stayed there again. The people in the neighborhood made me concerned for my safety.

Fine place to stay for you or your family

Large facility close to Fresno State and local mall and eateries. Super friendly staff at front desk on all interactions. Place is older and well used but clean and not questionable. Room I stayed in was very large. Experience was positive. I would stay there again.

$200 deposit ????? Seriously?

Posted 14-Feb-2017
Was never aware that I had to put down $100 deposit /per day. On top of the that the building seems very old. Wood floors and ever seems old and used.

Good but bad

Posted 13-Feb-2017
Hotel staff followed my needs on the itinerary very well! The hotel room was very clean and security seem to be good. I loved the room decoration but you could literally hear people in the hall way, come in and out or kids yelling when you're in your room. The window seals were old and about to come out, it was also hard to open the window. Tv was a 32 inch inside a large wooden entertainment table that closed. A lot of mirrors which were a plus for me. The only thing that I didn't find comfortable was the bed.. Everyone has their own preference on a bed but when you sat on the bed, it would sink. It felt cheap. Now I come from a family that uses big soft blankets, but the hotels were like thin sheets. I don't know if people like that but I don't that. Breakfast was good, sausages, eggs, potato fries but they could improve it a little better. No bugs except for 1 ant I found.

A good value

Posted 13-Feb-2017
University Square Hotel was a nice surprise. It was very reasonably priced and I booked at the last minute. The room was spacious and comfortable. It was quiet. The room came with breakfast and it was more than just pastries. Overall a good value for the price. I would come again.

Personal Stay

Posted 11-Feb-2017
Pros: Location
Cons: Needs improvement on the cleaning.
Location: Located central, easy access to restaurants
You get what you pay for...The floors were dirty the tub had mildew stain all the around. The sheets had hair all over and black spots. I was itchy all night couldn't sleep. The bed was lumpy. Never going to stay here again. It was a nightmare.
