Nice hotel and lobby renovation is superb!

Nicely remodeled lobby. Love the bar and restaurant. The staff was accommodating. Had to change rooms as the 1st room didn’t have a working heater and was cold.

Unexpected on a main road

Posted 16-Oct-2017
Pros: The atmospnere. Solid breakfast.
Cons: An elevator or two would be helpful. Address water pressure/hardness issue.
Stayed two nights. Walked to dinner across the street. Courtyard is very pleasant and gives feel of open space, adjacent to outdoor eating area for complimentary breakfast. Shower was marginally effective.

We had a very pleasant stay. Huge room with a comfortable bed, nice bathroom and the best hotel breakfast we have ever had! Friendly staff. Great parking. I have nothing negative to say about our stay here! 2 thumbs up and 10 stars!

Loved the security, large room, chairs, bedding.

Posted 11-Oct-2017
Pros: 4-plex set up with extra security outside doors. Quiet. Nice bedding. Breakfast included.
Cons: More coffee, ha
Very reasonable price. 2nd stay here. Quiet because they are situated as separate 4-plexes with extra security outside door hallway for each 4-plex. . Even has a breakfast as part of the package. Very nice bedding. Quality for the price. No refrig or microwave, but for the price and the quality, its a win win

an overnighter

Posted 05-Oct-2017
Pros: Design, cleanliness, landscaping, choice of decor..
Cons: You have to hold on to the doors to keep them from slamming. Quieter doors would be nice.
Location: This is the upper middle to upper class area of Fresno. Getting there by driving tree-lined streets and gorgeous homes was interesting. Fig Garden Vil
Chose the hotel on West Shaw because of its name. We are going to London soon and thought it would be amusing to stay at Piccadilly Inn. Its has a wonderful, English-y port a cochere at the check-in office. The folks on duty were pleasant, and engaged in some chatting. The room was immaculate and spacious. We were there for only one night. The pool area looked inviting, as did the outside dining area where breakfast was served. We could not get the Kurig coffee machine in the room to work. At checkout we reported that it may need attention and the staff member wrote a note right away. We got coffee and bananas in the breakfast room. I'm a coffee snob and found their coffee weak. The water pressure in the sink was wimpy, but the shower was fine. I liked this hotel and its location.

Convenient location near our family.

Posted 03-Oct-2017
Pros: Convenient location, room was comfortable, and breakfast was nice.
Cons: Front desk staff was not as helpful as I would like, plumbing was not good, and stairs seemed unsafe. Property seems a little shabby.
Location: Located on a busy street, not far from the freeway. A lot of restaurant and shopping choices nearby.
This hotel is located conveniently for us while visiting family in the area. We have stayed here a number of times in the past, and been very happy with it. Our experience this time was somewhat less pleasant. We wanted a ground floor room (there are no elevators) but were told none were available even though we checked in after 3 PM. The front desk did not give us the internet password, we had to call down for it. The stairs to the second floor were cracked and wobbly, which made me nervous. The plumbing was not very good: the pipes made a lot of noise and the water pressure was very low. The room was clean and comfortable, and the breakfast was nice. We would probably stay here again, but the property is beginning to look a bit shabby compared to the first time we stayed there.
