Very Dirty hotel and air conditioner didnt work

Cons: everything
Location: very bad unsafe area of town. no restaurants near by worth going to
HORRIBLE CONDITIONS, DIRTY, AND AIR CONDITIONER DIDNT WORK. VERY BAD PART OF TOWN.

Horrible neighborhood

Upon check in there was no shower curtain. The A.C. in the room did not work. The restaurant that is said to be open, is no longer open, and there are no decent restaurants close to this hotel. Pool had things floating in it, I wouldn't swim in it.

Pros: Quiet, spacious, neat and clean.
Cons: Microwave in the room.
I like the hotel but central cooling system was performing very poorly of hot days. Wish they had provided microwave in the room.

Bad area, disgusting bathroom

This hotel is in such a bad area that even the front desk staff said not to walk in the vicinity (and that was in the middle of the afternoon). There were shady people loitering in front of the hotel and in the parking lot and acting strangely (you can assume just as well as I can what activities they were partaking in) durine the day and night. At night, the parking lot is pitch-black, which given the area is incredibly dangerous. The rooms are old and dirty. The bathroom had a disgusting amount of mold on the walls and in the bathtub. This was my first experience using this hotel chain, and I will NEVER use this them again.

Filthy

Pros: It was quiet.
Cons: In addition to cleaning, the carpet really needs replacing.
While the bed was comfortable enough, the room was filthy. There was used dental floss and other stuff on the floor from the previous guest. I added some toenail clippings and the room was never vacuumed during my three night stay. There was a glob of old toothpaste on the bathroom sink from a previous guest. All of which makes me wonder if the sheets were actually clean. The air conditioning blew nothing but hot air no matter what temperature the thermostat was on. Even though I reported the problem, it was never fixed.

Older Hotel in need of updating.
