Good stopover

Posted 08-Jun-2015
Pros: Near freeway, quiet rooms, complimentary breakfast
Cons: Better signage. Street wasn't identifiable from GPS and didn't see signs from freeway.
We used the hotel as a stop over between Northern Ca and Los Angeles. It is located near the freeway and shopping close by.

Who Ordered The Train?

Posted 29-May-2015 on Hotels
I was in town to celebrate a birthday, initially I went to the wrong hotel as there are 2 Hampton Inn's off of the same street about 10mi apart (granted that is 100% my fault for going to the wrong one). When we finally arrived, the room was in order, the a/c was on and I was a happy camper. We had adequate towels as I booked the room for 2 adults and 2 children. I was please to not need to call the front desk and request more towels. As we lay down to get some rest, we heard the horn of a locomotive, that was unexptected. About 45 minutes later, another locomotive horn. My wife and I began to wonder how many trains were going to rush over the course of the night. Fortunately, we didn't hear anymore and called it a night. The next morning the breakfast had something for everyone which was great. Overall, it was a good stay, a good night's sleep, and nice to wake up and not have to find a place to go have breakfast. The neighborhood was nice and quiet and very close to the freeway (suprisingly without much freeway noise). I wish I could give the neighborhood 3.5 the trains passing were less than desireable. Hotel service was 3 because the cleaning person came to the door at 8am to clean, which I thought was kind of early, especially for a Sunday. Either way, it wasn't a perfect experience, but overall it was a really good experience and I'd definitely stay there again

comfortable stay

Posted 28-May-2015
Pros: I liked the way the bathroom area was designed. the shower and toilet together while the vanity was in our room with the sink. easy to share
Location: a late night taco bell is across the street. perfect for the time we arrived because we were hungry and tired.
we arrived late night around 10 pm. my partner is handicap and cant walk too far. I mentioned this to the staff and they accommodated us by putting us close to the elevators. they have a nice little snack shop, i left my money in the room and they just charged it to my room with no problems. by morning the bill was under my door, very simple process. the breakfast was great. lots to choose from and the dinning area was very roomy.

Nice, safe, clean hotel with fitness center, pool

Posted 24-May-2015
Pros: Pro's: -Nice, safe, clean hotel with fitness center (free weights, 1 adjustable bench, 2 treadmills, 1 elliptical, 1 stationary bike, medicine balls
Cons: Cons: -It is right off freeway, Expect some road noise (trucks), freeway side is better than train side (back, where you will hear whistles blowing)
Location: Near freeway, stores within driving distance
I stayed here for one night for a party that I had to attend and a wedding in morning. It is right off freeway, clean. It is in a safer part of town, they also have a business center with print facilities. Some. Ending machines, snacks. It was comfortable overall barring some road noise which is to be expected due to it's location. Nice, friendly staff and comfortable room. I stayed in room 217 which I believe was a disabled wheel chair access room, seemed spacious. 3.5 stars Pro's: -Nice, safe, clean hotel with fitness center (free weights, 1 adjustable bench, 2 treadmills, 1 elliptical, 1 stationary bike, medicine balls, towels, water dispenser), outdoor pool -Free hot breakfast (hot herb potatoes, eggs, sausage, oatmeal), fruit, bagels, muffin, bread, pastries, yogurt, juice, peanut butter, cream cheese, jelly, coffee, milk, tea and half n half -Free parking around hotel -Helpful friendly staff -Nice sized room, 2 queen beds, storage closet, refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker in bathroom, toiletries (soap, shampoo, conditioner, lotion), iron, ironing board, table, chair, desk -A/C worked -Room does get dark with pull blinds, but not no blackout drapes

Super clean and great value.

Posted 17-May-2015 on Hotels
This hotel is super clean, is new, has great free breakfast and friendly staff. There is also a Starbucks and Subway right next door and a Target shopping center 0.2 miles away. The drawbacks are trains that pass by frequently and it's right off the freeway. The trains don't run after 11pm. They start running around 8am. Maybe even earlier on week days. Bring ear plugs if you are noise sensitive. Overall it's a great place to stay at a great value.

Comfy Stau

Posted 03-May-2015 on Hotels
Room was very clean as was the whole hotel. Staff was very friendly. Breakfast had alot of yummy options like little omelets, sausage, waffle maker and pastries. Only downside was a small pool and thin wall or door where you could hear hallway activity pretty well. You can hear the train passing by but I actually liked that. I would stay again.
