very nice.
The hotel is perfectly located at the edge of the old city. It was very clean and the front desk staff were very helpful. The rooms are small, but it is fine, because the cost was very low, and most of our time was spent out walking the beautiful city.

Great no frills hotel!
Quick early check-in, easy check-out! Everything was a seamless experience. Just don’t come back drunk or you’ll struggle to find your room through the endless corridors!

Good overnight stay right on edge of old town
Good design, nice bar, friendly staff. Off site parking expensive (19Eur) and rooms rather compact, but efficient. Good night sleep.

Alright for a short stay
Reasonable for the price in terms of location and room size. Bed was a bit soft but this is personal preference. Service was ok - we had to provide the same details many times and the check-in line was slow with only one person, they didn't offer or let us know there was onsite parking on check-in or beforehand, didn't offer any suggestions of what to see or do in the area. They were helpful on giving us a quiet room as requested though. Lobby area is nicely decorated.

Clean and modern hotel, nicely located just minutes by foot from anywhere in the city centre. Would highly recommend. The rooms are a bit too small. Perhaps it's priced a little on the high end as a result.

Clean hotel rooms - Very good location. Was there for quick stop in Freiburg (personal trip). Booked two rooms for wife and two children. Although rooms were adequate they were incredibly small. Impossible to have two people walk by each other in room - it was that tight. I felt I was in a hotel with Japanese style micro rooms. No place to reasonably open luggage and function in room. I have travelled for years for business, including Europe and these rooms were tiny even by European standards. Also no parking on sight was available. It was all booked even though I checked in early.

There were many disappointments. There is nowhere to pull in with your car let alone park. You are left to figure it out. The breakfast is not what is represented on the website and the rooms are insanely small. Nowhere to put luggage. The staff was not helpful.

This is easily the cleanest hotel I have ever stayed in. The rooms are very small but include everything you might need, and the extreme cleanliness of the rooms/hotel make the size of the rooms totally easy to deal with. Could not be happier with our stay and will definitely be back.

Great hotel for the price you pay. I was very happy overall with my stay. My one complaint might seem like a small one, but would be so easy to fix: please allow guests to use the HDMI input on your tv:s. You have a big television in the room with an HDMI input which has been disabled. This was common 5 years ago, but most hotels I have stayed in recent years no longer disable these connections. There are several reasons this is annoying. One is that when most of the tv content is in German, it would be nice to watch content of my own choice on my laptop. Second, and in this case more importantly, on a business trip it is good to be able to test and practice your powerpoint presentations on a big screen. But as I said, otherwise a very good hotel for the price.

The Rooms are small and the car parking is a problem. We had to park on the streets and pay for meters. The breakfast was great and the rooms are clean. We thought it was a bargarn because we were right next to the city center and we could walk to where we wanted to go. Carol

Modern centrally located hotel near cathedral
This is an ideal hotel for sightseers and people who love to walk because it is very centrally located. I could see the cathedral steeple from my window and walk to it and the market square in a few minutes. The tram stops very near the hotel and there are buses nearby, but I walked just about everywhere. It was only a ten minute walk straight down the street to the Schlossburg cable car. This hotel is located in a heavy traffic area but the room was quiet. There is some sort of renovation or construction connected to the hotel but that did not disturb me. The hotel is very modern and clean and comfortable. Staff helpful. The bar, dining area and lobby all run together, and I would have preferred some separation for privacy. There are restaurants nearby within walking distance as well as food stores like Edeka and Aldi. Breakfast not included but could be purchased on property for a reasonable price.

Great Freiburg Location and Cool Lounge
Very complicated, expensive and limited parking situation and small rooms are the only drawbacks of this otherwise outstanding hotel on the edge of Freiburg's Altstadt. Easy walking access to all of the sights, beautiful and smart design, delicious homemade cocktails in the huge lounge and workspace on the main floor. Nice music in the public areas too. All amenities are thoughtfully composed, with nice references to culture in the surrounding Schwarzwald. Organic toiletries made in Germany, available for purchase.

Excellent service, but the room is extremely small. There’s hardly any space for keeping luggage and accessing it. The room was also extremely hot and stuffy despite turning the temperature to 10 degrees c. We got some respite on keeping the window open.

Excellent hotel with super staff
This is a great hotel. Clean, comfortable, great location, wonderful breakfast and very helpful staff. TV’s screen saver is a fireplace and it will stay on all night. Double check how to get there. Doing construction work out front (but no noise)...make sure you know which Tram you need from the train station.

Modern and clean hotel
The hotel is modern and very new. The bedding is very clean and comfortable. The room size is a little bit small. The location is excellent. All major attraction are within walking distance around 5-10 minutes. I would recommend this hotel. The price is reasonable.
