Dear Desiree, We thank you for your observations, we would like to inform you that the hotel is presently on construction to uplift the old fashioned rooms to a more modern interior design. In order not to affect nor inconvenience our guests; we always close down the areas under construction, with no access. Our Hotel is built on four levels and all are almost on the ground level so therefore elevators are not necessary. The upgraded rooms you was allocated to, is located apposite the main building which was an intentional act to give you the benefit of a secluded area with more privacy and its own private access to make you feel more comfortable being in a quiet section of the hotel. We recently had a new executive chef join our team of professionals and is presently designing an outstanding unique menu with dishes never heard of neither previously served in Sierra Leone. For transportation from the hotel, you can always ask the Front Desk to get you a taxi as we do have reliable local taxi drivers that are on call for all guests who needs transportation as well as National Tourist Taxi Association who are stationed within the hotel. For our road it is unfortunate that it was not fixed whilst you stayed with us but i am happy to inform you that the reconstruction/rapier has started and hopefully when you return again sometime soon, you will see a whole lot of difference.
