happy with our stay

Posted 05-Jan-2016 on Hotels
We have stayed several times and love this location. This time we met a friend who are a bit of a hotel snob. She "never stays at LaQuinta"; she had to admit it is very nice. The staff was limited (holiday weekend), but they did a remarkable jobs. Will stay again.

Nice hotel and comfortable beds

Posted 23-Dec-2015
Pros: Comfortable beds and pet friendly. Great area for walking pets.
Cons: Not much. Maybe upgrade carpet, but it wasn't bad
Location: Kerrville is a great town to visit. Lots of stuff to do with the River there and Fredericksburg and Hunt Texas near by.
Hotel was nice and had comfortable beds. Great for pets to stay. Hotel staff was helpful and friendly. A lot better than the Best Western in Kerrville that we stayed at previously.

Nice dog hotel

Posted 09-Dec-2015
Pros: Dog Friendly
Cons: They did not have eggs and bacon/sausage for breakfast. Some people would probably want that.
Location: We went to eat at the 1011 Bistro on the River. Upscale and very good food..
We went here because they allow dogs and don't charge for them. The hotel clean and neat. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

Nice indoor pool

Posted 19-Oct-2015 on Hotels
The indoor pool & hot tub was great--prettier in the day time than the night time. They end breakfast pretty early, so we missed it both days.

Overall Experience

Posted 18-Oct-2015
Pros: Close to food establishments. close to antique shops and many other shopping ideas.
Cons: update mattress in rooms as needed. Check refrigerators for cooling and check food prepration.
Location: Nice country, plenty of shops to visit nearby. Evenings quiet and relaxing.
We arrived and the Air Cond wasn't working. The refrigerator wouldn't cool for insulin storage. The front Desk moved us to a different room. Was much better. The mattress on the bed was very uncomfortable, so didn't rest very well. The sausage on Breakfast bar was very greasy.
