"What a wonderful stay at Forest Rise! The peace, beauty, and serenity of the forest was incredible. The highlight was the regular kangaroo visitors that truly made the trip special. They would come around in the morning, evening, and there is a gathering spot in a couple of fields as you drive in and out. The provided bikes were wonderful to use, and the gazebo provided a place of sanctuary. The chalet itself was clean and had just about everything you needed for a relaxing stay. While the chalet feels remote, you are only about 15-20 minutes from some fantastic grocery stores and wineries, making it feel isolated yet not too isolated. Would definitely travel back just to stay again!"

"Such a beautiful stay, truly idyllic. The views over the river were stunning from the nicely situated decking / inside dining for when it rained and we were cozy. The home had thought of everything we needed for a relaxed getaway. The kitchen was well-equipped, and perfect for cooking up big meals together. Our friends also really appreciated how thoughtfully set up it was for their little one, with a cot in the bedroom and a lovely outside sitting area for that room that was perfect for their slightly earlier morning wake-up!We’d absolutely love to come back 5/5"

"This is a very special get-away with no worries about who is looking after the dogs, as they could come along. At the end of a tree-lined driveway and surrounded by lawns and vines, it is a wonderful space for family and friends with everything thought about for you. The fire box was roaring away as it was a chilly weekend, keeping the house cosy even though the living spaces are large. The hosts kept in touch to make sure everything went smoothly."
