The Hotel was ok. The Staff was excellent. The room was just ok. Selection TV was not good. Heating system was not good.

The terrible lady in reception
The hotel had no food/roomservice except for eventual breakfast. You could not get lunch or dinner at the hotel. They had nothing to chew on. They had an empty minibar, and the bar was not manned all times.The staff was polite except for ONE. She wouldn´t say hello when all the other did this at all times. She did not open the door to us by pressing the button before we give her our room number through intercom. It was heavy rain and we couldn´t just remember the room number at that second, we got all wet cause of her, terrible lady. I´m 37 years old and I spend almost 70 nights at hotels every year, I have never experienced a worse staff at any hotel in any country.

No air con
The hotel was good but unfortunately the air conditioning had broken down throughout the whole hotel and was unlikely to be repaired until at least the end of June I was told. This made it very hot with 29 degree temperatures outside. Having to have the windows open caused noise from the busy main line railway as the hotel overlooks the railway station, so sleep was very limited due to the noise and the heat.

Great choice if you’re in Darmstadt
Needed a place to stay for the night and Intercity fit the bill. The staff was friendly, and the hotel was great value. The location is phenomenal as it’s right next to the central station. I would stay here again.

Good hotel, Poor breakfast.
Nice hotel and staff. Let down by breakfast which was poor choice. Ok it might be due to Covid but they still charge 17 Euro.

Prima Übernachtung direkt am Hbf
Sehr freundliche Mitarbeiter, tadelloses Zimmer zu einem günstigen Preis, schöner Blick auf die Gleise. Der Check In war zu langsam, das sollte zügiger gehen.
