Tolles Hotel für einen kurzen Entspannungsurlaub, sehr nettes Personal und angenehme Atmosphäre. Einzig störend war, dass es keine Treppen gab und man immer auf den Aufzug angewiesen war. Im April leider auch nicht allzu viele kulinarische Optionen in der Umgebung, aber das Hotel bot ausreichend Abwechslung für unseren Kurztrip. Alles in Allem eine Empfehlung wert.

I discovered the Hotel Esplanade through the Videoshopping App Jooli and it was exactly what I was looking for. A quick escape from busy Berlin. Judging from the video I was a bit scared that it would be too old-fashioned - but it’s actually quite modern in real life. We enjoyed the surroundings - taking a long walk at the lake and warming up ourselves at the sauna and whirlpool afterwards. The spa was absolutely amazing - different temperature saunas, a steam room, large heated outdoor and indoor pools. A two-night stay wasn’t long enough to try out everything! They also had a huge breakfast buffet with a chef making omelettes and pancakes! Everything was delicious. Another plus - it’s an “Adults Only Hotel”, so also a perfect weekend escape for parents. Only one criticism - parking could be free. Otherwise, totally recommend for a relaxing getaway!

Great stay for a quick getaway to relax during the week or weekend with a nice spa area, restaurants, and bars. Relaxed atmosphere and beautifully located at the Scharmützelsee.

All spa and gym services including the indoor and outdoor swimming pools are closed. They don't tell you that until after you check in. They advertise 2 restaurants, but the Italian is only open at weekends. You also have to book as the restaurant gets busy with non hotel guests. You have to have a covid test everyday or you can't have breakfast at the hotel. You also have to be tested for the restaurant and download an app to your phone. The menu is only in German language, very poor for a hotel that advertises many languages. The room was fine, but when you consider that none of the services are available the hotel is wildly over priced. You also have to wear a mask everywhere that you go, even though you are tested everyday.

Excellent Choice
We had a very enjoyable three nights stay at this hotel. The room was spacious, the spa facilities top notch and all the staff exceptionally friendly and welcoming. The location is perfect for direct access to the walking and biking paths around the lake. The breakfast buffet had everything you' d want and excellent service and we also enjoyed dining at both their Italian restaurant O'vino and the more casual Pechhutte cafe, all topped off with evenings at the fireplace bar. Swimming at the heated outdoor pool was fun and the soap massage was a unique experience. This is an adults only hotel, which is an added bonus. We give this hotel top marks all around.

Spa hotel w free breakfast close to Berlin
Spent a night here w my fiancé for a relaxing evening. The hotel is very nice and includes a nice free breakfast. The staff is friendly and ithey have some nice restaurants included in the hotel. Easy place to stay a few days.

Splendid hotel in a great location.
We enjoyed it very much.The room was very comfortable and we found the staff very helpful. The variety of food available at breakfast was excellent and I didn't need to eat anymore until the evening. Pleasant walk into Bad Saarow centre for the railway station and local shops and cafes. It is good to be able to catch a cruise ship outside for a trip down the lake. My wife really enjoyed the swimming pool and spa.

Beautiful lakeside hotel
The Hotel Esplanade & Spa is a lovely choice for exploring the Bad Saarow area and Scharmützelsee Lake. The rooms and facilities are lovely, as are the staff, nearby food and gorgeous surroundings. Would definitely stay again!

Nice resort close to Berlin
Very nice hotel close to Berlin, very comfortable, lots of Spa optio, great indoor pool and gym. Very nice breakfast buffet and reasonable priced restaurant with local products.

Ein schönes Hotel mit sehr nettem Spa-Bereich direkt am Scharmützelsee. Die Gegens ist bezaubernd, toll zum Spazierengehen. Und so viele gute Restaurants, auch direkt am Hotel (beste Pizza!!). Wir kommen wieder!

Ich kann das Hotel nur empfehlen. Sehr gute Lage direkt am Ortseingang von Bad Saarow. Sehr ruhige Gegend direkt am Scharmützelsee. Alles sauber. Jeder Wunsch wurde erfüllt (weitere Decke, anderes Kopfkissen etc.). Das Spa war immer gemütlich. Als wir das erste mal dort hinein kamen erhielten wir eine kleine Einweisung. Überall steht auch Wasser für die Gäste bereit. Leider waren die Liegen im Spa für die anzahl der Gäste nicht ausreichend, man musste Glück haben um eine Liege zu bekommen. Die Bar ist klein aber man fühlt sich extrem wohl, die Auswahl an Drinks ist groß. Das Restaurant Pechhütte ist super. Große Speisen, da rechtfertigt sich auch der Preis. Zu Fuß kann man die Innenstadt erreichen (Kino, Edeka, netto, Apotheke...). Ich würde auf jeden Fall wiederkommen!!!

Es ein tolles Hotel mit vielen Möglichkeiten. Der Spa ist sehr schön. Nur mit der Temperatur des Innenschwimmbeckens waren wir nicht ganz zufrieden. Laut Personal soll dieser 26 Grad Celsius gehabt haben. Leider konnte man sich nicht lange darin aufhalten und es waren auch sehr wenig Gäste die dieses Schwimmbecken genutzt haben. Da man eine Energiepauschale abführt sollte man davon ausgehen , dass vernünftige Wassertemperaturen sind.
