Close to the main sights in Bamberg
The hotel is in a great location within a few hundred metres of the main sights of Bamberg. There is a great selection of places to eat within easy walking distance. The breakfast was tasty, the staff were helpful and the room had a nice combination of rustic decor and modern fittings.

Nice hotel, friendly staff, decent restaurant. The rooms were small, but clean and comfortable (the only downside to the rooms was that there was a lot of street noise which might keep light sleepers awake). Parking not on premises. Much to see and do within easy walking distance.

Lovely hotel located close to the old town. Breakfast was excellent @ Eur 12. Staff were really helpful.

We enjoyed our stay. The restaurant was good and the area around the hotel is perfect for exploring Bamberg. The location is close to everything you want to see.

Nice small hotel in the center of town
Great friendly staff, excellent location (walkable to tons of shops and restaurants), good breakfast buffet. Our room was on the smaller side, but it was very clean and was an excellent value. Definitely would recommend this place.

Good stay
The hotel is situated in the old town hence a distance from the train station, but it's a walkable 10 - 15 mins stroll. Resturants, food and drinks available along the streets. Places of interest within walkable distance. Hotel staffs were friendly. Generally no complaints.

Tiny room and bathroom, but a charming place overall, and located right in the heart of Bamberg's old town. Nice breakfast...especially the farm-fresh eggs.

Very helpful and friendly staff. Only complaint is the lack of shower head. Hotel is in a great central location, although the downside of that was the late night bar noises from the street.

Central hotel, typically Bavarian!
Central location close to bars and restaurants, downside is that it's quite noisy at night time. Friendly staff. Slightly dated interior and rooms, no air conditioning. Typical breakfast included. Potential charge if checking in after 10pm (however not requested in my case).

AWESOME location - choose your room wisely.
AWESOME location - but beware of where your room is! We were right above the beer garden and all the smoke came into our non-smoking room. With no A/C and the end of July, closing those windows to avoid the smoke was HOT.

Neighborhood and location were perfect, but beware of rooming above the garden... Lots of smoke comes through the windows.

Great central location
We didn't mind the kitchy tiles in the bathroom and the typical wooden feel of Franconia although this hotel looked a bit outdated and old fashioned. It was very clean, free breakfast was very good and the central location made it an excellent spot to visit Bamberg.

Deluxe Day in Bamberg

A very nice small hotel right in the old part of Bamberg, close to the Kaiserdom, almost next door to Schlerlenka brewery/biergarten. Good-size room, good breakfast, a pleasant stay

Location Location
Older hotel right in the middle of the Old Town where you can walk to all the historic sights of Bamberg. Very difficult to park unless you have a small vehicle. Room was clean although a bit sparse and included a refrig/mini bar. The restaurant food was quite good and we enjoyed sitting outside watching all the people during dinner. Breakfast was also more than adequate, including hot scrambled eggs.

We were extremely happy with the hotels location, cleanliness, safety and quietness. The front desk personnel, at times, made us feel we were being bothersome with our questions and needs.

Cozy and well located
Excellent stay. Hotel is pretty stylish. All attractions just nearby. For dinner a lot of restaraunts just behind the corner. Room was a little bit small but not critically. Be aware that hotel garage can accomodate only cars of 1.5 m height. My was 5 cm bigger, so I was needed to use municipal parking. Though it is just 10 min walking. I would recommend this hotel to anybody visiting Bamberg.

Magic little town
In the centre if bamberg is a cluster of gastro pubs. This hotel is one of them. Great location, very affordable, great restaurant downstairs...loved our stay...don't try to drive in there it's hellish.

Just needed a place to sleep for one night in the city so it was great. Nothing fancy but the bed was comfy, there is wifi in the room and had no issues. Location is great in the city. Good walking distance to various places. Good value!

Schönes Hotel in zentraler Altstadtlage. Aber bei geöffnetem Fenster zu schlafen, wenn es sehr warm ist, ist unmöglich, da bis 2 Uhr und später in der Nacht es draußen extrem laut ist

Hot summer in Bamberg
Super Lage direkt in der belebten Altstadt, daher auch abends ein gewisser Geräuschpegel. Aber die Fenster isolieren gut und zur Not liegen Ohrstöpsel in der Schublade. Gegen die Hitze dieses Sommers half uns der Zimmerventilator. Frühstück solide. Personal, besonders der Gastwirtschaft sympathisch.

Nachts durch viele Szenekneipen mit viel Leben in der Umgebung. Dadurch ist es auf den Zimmern aber auch nicht so ruhig. Parkmöglichkeiten leider sehr begrenzt. Wen das nicht stört, ist in einem guten und liebenswerten Hotel untergebracht
