The hotel was great and close to the city, however should mention that parking and breakfast is not includedand have to pay separately. . Also should offer key to parking lot before you get to a room. I ended up finding parking on the street and then was charged for paid parking that i never used.

Our stay was great. The staff was very helpful, even after hours over the phone. The beds were a little too firm for net l my wife, but I was very comfortable. The location was good, which allowed us to drive everywhere we wanted to go. The dirt parking lot was a little undesirable, but any available parking in Germany is a plus.

Pleasant surprise
I stayed here 3 nights for a business trip. My room was spacious and clean. It was located on the ground floor which made it a little noisy. Wifi works well, bathroom is good. Bed is very good. Breakfast was fine. Would be better for working with a normal desk chair. Nearest metro station is 10 minutes walking. The neighbourhood seems safe enough.

The property states there is 'free parking', altho true, it is in a dirt lot a few 100 yards from the hotel, adjacent to the train tracks that is frequented by the homeless. VERY SKETCHY to go back to your car after dark! The room we were in was cold and the heater did not work. We requested another blanket after the staff insisted the heater was working (but cold to the touch) and reluctantly the staff finally provide another blanket. Early in the morning, the fire alarm went off in our room as the battery was dying. It was a very deafening and rude awakening!!!! Lastly, the location was a 1/2 mile (15-20 minute walk each way) from the center of the historic city. It wasn't convenient to see the sights, return back to the hotel and go out again for dinner. We were disappointed and would look for another place in the future. One good thing, it was quiet, until the alarms went off in the morning!

Clean room, confusing parking & not best area
We booked ahead of time for one night after researching the area. This hotel was hidden and self-served to enter and retrieve the key. There was no one at the customer service desk until the next morning. Parking was not in the best area and it was confusing that a garage key was left on the counter for us to use. The room itself was fine and clean. The whole setup just left us feeling confused and helpless.

Clean and tidy room but no one one check in desk when we arrived so used self check in and had slight problem as couldnt find reservation but was resolved by phone call. Breakfast was okay nothing special at all. Not in the greatest area but is close to centre and underground station. Fine as a base if not spending much time in hotel

Nice Stay. Older construction with modern updates. Room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Parking was securenin a parking garage foe a minimal fee. Management was outstanding and very helpful. Easy walking distance to the center of Old Town. Left before breakfast but the restaurant setting was very nice

In the middle of Nürnberg, this is a nice quiet oasis. A bit removed from the center, it is, nevertheless, fairly easily accessible and very quiet, peaceful.

Nice hotel, roomy, with a cute aesthetic
Beware in midsummer when we were there. No air-conditioning, so you need to a. take the donnas out of their covers and sleep under the covers like sheets (but we have to do that in all European hotels) but b. also open all the windows for a breeze, and because the hotel shares its courtyard with nearby apartments and everyone in Europe is still smoking on their balconies (when will Europe kick the habit??) your room gradually fills with second hand cigarette smoke throughout the evening. We could hardly get the free wifi in our room. It was better in the dining room, but slow and patchy.

Good value in good location
Good value, for sure. On courtyard, with quiet corridors, safe location and walkable restaurants and bars. Shower strong and breakfast good for the charge. Parking a block away in off-road area, not secured but we had no problem.

Great stay not far from 'Old Town'
We stayed one night only but were very impressed by this boutique hotel. Crisp clean room with super comfortable bed. We could park our car for free not far from the hotel. Friendly staff and nice brekfast buffet. We can recommend this hotel to anybody and would definitely book it again when in Nuremberg

City Center Stay
Fortunately our GPS guided us through the warren of inner city Nuremberg and we were quite surprised to find the Hotel in a courtyard surrounded by 4 to 5-story high residential buildings...and of course there is nobody who carries your suitcases or show you in person where to safely park your car. However, all that doesn't mean much when you are a ten minute walk away from Nuremberg's historical city center and the premier shopping district or have a friendly in-house staff. We stayed at the Arthotel at the beginning of a six week long trip during which we are visiting as many Christmas markets in German as possible...we are getting used to the minimalist German approach to Hotel services. Despite that we rate this hotel as one we will return to.

Pleasant little boutique hotel, but way overpriced
We stayed there while attending a trade fair in Nuremberg. The hotel is a reasonable two to three star boutique hotel with limited facilities. I paid about three times what the rate was when there is not a fair. I was upset as they have a booking machine in the lobby and I checked the rate for the available one room in the hotel and it was half of what we were paying. The staff was extremely helpful, but overloaded. The receptionist also prepares the breakfast and does other things. Hours are limited for front desk service, and no room service, etc. A friend suggested staying there. Had I known in advance, I likely would not have stayed there. I had to go one night during my stay to Stuttgart, and got a brand name full service, city centre hotel for half the price of Art Hotel. Again, the stay was pleasant. Just not good value for what we got.

Quaint Stay
This cute little hotel offers great rooms only 2km (20 minute) walk to the Alstadt city center of Nuremberg. They have great hotel staff that speak English really well (some are self-taught as I learned). Breakfast is relatively inexpensive and filling, it's not a buffet spread, but it's enough to get you started in the morning. The internet is available, but is very spotty- at least it was in the room I stayed, but you don't go on vacation to be online, so this was not a huge problem. The neighborhood is safe enough to wander around, there isn't anything immediately around the hotel, so a snack or bite to eat is a little walk away, but it also means that the hotel is nice and quiet.

Clean and nice room; unexpected location
This hotel probably used to be an apartment building. We had to take the elevator to the 2nd floor and then stairs down. It felt unusual. Otherwise, the hotel was clean a good deal.

Nice quiet location. We stayed in the "penthouse" which was more like a small apartment. There was no AC so it was a little hot until it cooled off at night, but it got bright really early. Breakfast was too expensive for us, but they had free coffee and other hot drinks all night. The staff was very helpful and all the we talked to spoke english pretty well.

Nice Hotel, So-so location
Nice enough hotel...just not in a very nice looking part of town though. Quite a walk to any of the tourist sights. Hotel parking is a dirt lot around the corner. Free coffee/espresso etc. at all hours. Breakfast buffet somewhat lacking and had to pay for it. We've had free/inclusive breakfast buffets that were far better than this "pay for" one. Hotel staff very friendly and very helpful. Room was updated and clean and bathroom was large.

The hotel is very nice and the staff were helpful, but the hotel is definitely in an outlying area. We didn't really mind and it only took about 10 minutes to walk to the wall and closer to 25 minutes to get to the center square.

Great Hotel...Had a great stay
This was an awesome hotel, and I would highly recommend it to anyone wanting a great room, with excellent service. It is located in a nice neighborhood, and it was pretty quiet during my stay. The staff was so courteous and helpful. I would stay here again.

Gute und ruhige Lage in einem Hinterhof. Schön grün. Wir (2 Personen) waren über ein verlängertes Wochenende dort. Man ist schnell zu Fuß in der Altstadt. Öffentliche Verkehrsmitteln auch schnell zu erreichen. Nette Wohngegend. Beim nächsten Besuch gerne wieder. Etwas verwundert waren wir ob des Check-ins, man bekommt einen Code geschickt, der die Haustür und die Zimmertüre öffnet - kannten wir so nicht. Das Personal hat man nur am Vormitag gesehen bis Mittags gesehen. Frühstück hatten wir nicht mitgebucht, aber der Frühstücksraum sah ansprechend aus.
