I had a problem with expedia payment process, nobody helped on this The staff was doing terrible noises in front of my room at 6am in the morning, couldn’t sleep at all There were almost nothing as amenity in the room, just soap and shampoo

We don't generally have staff that early here at the hotel, so I'll definitely look into that further. A few of the amenities and services we do offer here at the hotel include our pool, 24 hour gym, free Wi-Fi in the room and lobby, an on-site restaurant and room service, and of course a complimentary and warm Doubletree Cookie upon arrival!

The hallways were dingy and not marked as to where the elevators were. The entrance was totally congested with cars when we arrived and no one was available to guide us. We had no idea where to pull in. Moreover the valet parking component with additional charges was a total surprise which caused us great inconvenience and made us waste precious time..

Dear Anonymous, thank you kindly for the review! Though I'm glad there was some positives to your stay, I'm sorry that overall it wasn't a better experience. We recently changed over to a valet only parking operation, but the price remains the same as our self-parking was prior ($28/night). That's certainly not something we try to hide as it's advertised on Expedia's site. It unfortunately has led to some congestion in our front drive with ins and outs, and I'm sorry that wasn't better handled. I'll share the feedback with our team, and we'll push to improve upon.

There were free cookies and the rooms were very clean and it was in a nice location.

The property was located near all of the places we needed to visit while in Los Angeles. The beds were comfy. Everything looks like it needs to be touched up a bit. My biggest complaint is that the bathtub is dirty.

We are due for a full renovation later this year, and one of the things on the list is to actually get rid of the tubs and have more of those chic walk-in showers. Valet parking only situation is horrible. No self parking requires you to valet your car, getting our car took 30-40 minutes each time. They advised us to call ahead of time which we tried to do but the line would be busy 90% of the time, just horrible management of that entire thing. In addition to the horrible parting the walls in the room are very thin, I could here our next door neighbors very clearly, also no black out curtains in the rooms so sun shines in on you first thing in the morning, sleeping was very difficult. Wouldn’t be staying here again.

Dear Rose, thank you kindly for the review. I'm sorry to see that you didn't have an enjoyable stay. We do requests for guests to give us a 30 minute heads-up for their vehicle so we can ensure it on the driveway by the time they come down. We do have to park off-site, and it does take some time to get the vehicle (hence we request to call in advance). In the even the valet line is busy, you can always call the front desk who will relay the message to valet. All of our rooms do have the black-out curtains, so I'll certainly look further into that, and thank you for bringing it to my attention.

We understand not every guest is going to enjoy their stay every single night. Though the amenities may not have been to your liking, hopefully the service staff was at least friendly and helpful. We are due for a renovation later this year, and hopefully you'll come back and see us then.

Nice property but zero parking. 38$ for the night at valet is a rip. Had to park off mersher

Dear Anonymous, thank you kindly for the review! I'm glad to see that overall you enjoyed your stay with us. Just to clarify, our valet parking rate is $28 for overnight. Unfortunately, we do only offer valet service for parking at this time. There is some limited self-parking options off of Mesmer as you mentioned, but it is very restrictive and of course park at own risk. Hopefully that doesn't stop you from staying with us in the future.
