Very pleasant stay - I would be pleased to return

This was my second stay at this hotel and it is very pleasant. I appreciated the quality service and the overall facilities. The staff all have a good working knowledge of English, which is very important for a business hotel in China. The hotel is located close to a mall which boasts many shops and restaurants. The area is very beautiful,within a lovely lake district, and is very clean and safe. The local people in the area where very friendly and welcoming to us. I highly appreciate the shuttle bus to the Canton Fair. The metro station is also only 10 mins away! I would certainly visit this hotel for my next visit to the Foshan area

went for nearby attractions which all needed transport. we used a taxi and were NOT ripped off. watch out for taxi over-charging in tourist cities.

Great hotel

This is a very good hotel with international standard. The property was well maintained and services above average. My only negative comments are: 1. There was a burn mark on the rubber mat on the writing table caused by placing hot iron by someone. This should have been changed. 2. The breakfast should be better for Intercontinental Hotel standard.

Stayed at this hotel several times and will keep on doing so. Great Hotel with nice and comfortable rooms and this time had a great view of the river. Concierge and Restarant staff should speak better English .WiFi should be better as well. But all in all I enjoyed it at this Hotel and Food was great as well.

Terrible experience... can't call international

Cons: english level, orientation towards customer service.
most basic thing.. I can't communicate with the staff and it is extremely annoying!! English level is not there and even though staff is friendly it makes experience very unpleasant. Will not stay here again. And Manager says nothing they can do. Also Food is 4 out 10. Poor menus, very Chinese oriented and quality of ingredients is poor. In room dining menu is very limited and 70% chinese, and worst of all you will spend 5 to 10 minutes explaining your order. Other things is ZERO flexibility and willingness to change on any aspect to please customer. They are trained by the book.. In summary very poor hotel...
