Nice hotel, nice service but poor wifi

I had strongly stressed that the room needed was non smoking room but I had received a smoking room despite my request but the front staff was good. They had changed altogether 3 rooms for me. At the end, I was very thankful for the room received. however, hotel seems to have very poor wifi, I can't use wifi quick enough for anytime. This is very bad for me since I'm on my business trip. I had managed to inform them during my check out time and was told that they can provide me with extra connection. So, for this hotel nothing can receive naturally, it is important to let them know or complain at the point of trouble.

Hotel is centrally located

Pros: easily excessable
Cons: enforce non smoking rules in hotel restaurant and at rooms designated non smoking
Location: Metro subway to Guangzhou and a new shopping and office complex is about five minutes walk
Even we were given a room on the non smoking floor a guest near by was smoking.

A good upper mid market option. although dated.

Location: Very Close to Zumiao metro station and across the road from several large glitzy malls and eateries of all standards including western brands.
Slightly dated by Australian standards but still a reasonable full service hotel in an excellent location very close to the Metro station. Good value for money. Service standards were good. English language skills were patchy.

I think this is the best hotel in Town. The room is great, and the staff is one the best I've seen. Highly recommend it.

Poorest Crowne Plaza ever stayed

Stayed 2nights (16 - 18 sept) with my mum for her family visiting because of the Excellent Location and reasonable price...However the staffs poor service and their rude guest really scare me away...(it is claimed as 5 stars hotel...however...facility: 4 stars, service: 3stars) - the 2nd days' breakfast, although our table shown "occupied" and we left our belongs on the seats, there's a mainlanders-looking male move away our belongings then took our seat, then I asked him to leave and explain this table has been occupied...anyway he refuse and I tangled in arguing with that rude male, we argue so loudly, the staffs nearby should aware...however they didn't come...until I wave them to come to seek for their assist...for the sake of not disturbing others guest or kind of very basic customer service, I really feel shock a stars rating hotel providing such kind of service! - breakfast really overcrowded, long queue everywhere, no dish, no cup, food container empty... - the last day morning: we not yet check-out, there's a staff simply get-in our room without ringing the bell or knock the the door (she explained she enter the wrong room)! Then, I locked all the locks to prevent similar case happen. However, 30min later the staffs ring our bell non-stop, then I get up to open the door and have a ask...they said they got the wrong message that our room has been check-out, so they ring the bell for the sake of cleaning-up! Come on! The locks are locked inside! Check-out?! ...
