Lime hotel provided a great retreat from the Vally, yet still being right on its door step. The hotel staff where very friendly and helpful. Free breakfast and drink on arrival was a fantastic little extra we didn't expect. The bed was very comfortable.

Clean and tidy. Wifi router was in the room so signal strength was always strong unlike a lot of hotels where you need to go to the lobby for a sufficient signal.
Close to the train station, excellent bars and restaurants nearby. Some are fancy, some are cheap take-out places, but all are plentiful. Close to nightclubs as well if you're into that sort of thing.

Never stayed at apartments before and the reception didn't explains the cleaning policy ie only get service once a week and we booked for 4 nights. The living area floors was not clean and I told them the next day ... But nothing was done. Besides that it's was ok !
Having stayed once, it wouldn't be my first preference if I have to stay in Fortitude Valley again. I chose it because it was handy to a job I was doing, and I was told to keep under a certain budget. It was clean, comfortable, and well located for me, but I prefer a hotel with more amenities.
Great place to stay! We checked out of other hotel in the cbd and walked all the way to this one in the hot afternoon sun. We just asked if we could keep our backpacks there until check in, but the lady at the front desk was super nice and let us check in right then. Not only that, she upgraded our room too. Both those things made our day/stay. Room was nice, clean, no complaints. Thanks again!
We stayed at 2bd skyline room for 3 nights. The room is very clean and kitchen is like new. We had a great view of the city. It's next to James St shops and restaurants. Bus stops on the corner could get you to the city and south bank park land.
The only problem we had was one of the bed rooms had no aircon and it can be hot at night. The living room and the other bed room do have aircon.
There could be road noises depends on where your room is.
Overall, we had a nice stay and kids enjoyed it.
Hotel was great. Location was great right in the CBD.
Parking was too expensive though ($45/night). We had to retire the hire care the next day as we did not needed and there was now point paying for parking for the duration of stay.
