Our room's decor was nicely updated, with high ceilings, large walk-in shower, well-equipped kitchenette, comfortable sleeping/living area with king bed, couch and desk, plenty of lamps and storage, ample hot water and strong water pressure. I only wish there had been an oven. We enjoyed the hotel's excellent complementary breakfast buffet.

The hotel altered our reservation without informing us, shifting us from a king bed suite to a queen bed. Despite the courteous front desk, they were unable to address the issue. Unfortunately, we did not scoped out our room before our festivities. Upon our return, we discovered stained sheets and pillowcases. Conveniently located near 7th, it suits the area well but wouldn't choose to stay here again.

Property was nice, we felt safe while there and didn’t worry about our things when we were not there. Staff was accommodating about early check in but changed our rooms in the process without letting us know. Not a huge change, but it still changed.

Miscommunication and lack of transparency
First the room reserved was not the room assigned at check in. The front desk person told us after check, around an hour and a half later that he ran out of king bedrooms. The TV satellite was not working for the first 2 hours. The room did not have a phone to call front desk so I had to walk three times to the lobby to talk to the front desk person. The room 201 does not have a second lock on the door and is next to the housekeeping storage room where you can hear everything. Very disappointed because my first time at this location was truly amazing and now total joke.

This Residence Inn is in a fabulous location. There are lots of restaurants, good shopping, and cultural sites within walking distance or a short drive. This property is clean and well maintained. I highly recommend staying here.

It was very convenient for the art museums. Room was nice size and clean. Trains were nearby and loud at night .Pull out bed mattress was like a torture chamber and unfortunately we had to use it as it was the reason we got this room. Breakast was good and included in price which was nice. Front desk was friendly but could not help With our unfortunate sleeping arrangements.
