The hotel is under remodeling, so I won't hold that against them. But the problem was the location: it is CRAWLING with scary, homeless, druggy transients. Being right on the freeway, I guess the area attracts bad elements, or maybe drugs are readily available? It felt very unsafe, and the reviews of people whose cars have been broken into should be a clue to not stay in this area. Too bad, as this could be a nice place, with its convenient location and a few dining options.
