Difficult to judge as property is currently undergoing refurbishment The staff had excellent customer service skills and were friendly and helpful Our first room had a shower problem, but this was quickly rectified by changing our room. The location is spectacular, the view cannot fail to amaze

This hotel was perfectly adequate though the room was very dated. The bed was really comfortable. The linen was clean. The room and the bathroom were very tired. Lots of dirty marks on the ceiling, black on some of the grouting, ill fitting toilet seat, no toilet roll holder and cheap toilet rolls. The breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The exterior of the hotel had scaffold all around it. I presume they are doing repairs or painting the exterior, but certainly some money should be spent on modernising the rooms. Foyer and dining area were lovely. I would definitely stay there again as a stopover. Not sure I would want an extended stay, in the room we had.

Pro: the view of the loch and it ends there. If you are going to stay here I recommend a car for sure as it’s far from the city centre. The room was just okay, it has your basic needs, heater, clean bathroom but mentioned in other reviews there is much upgrading needed. Even just as simple as wiping the walls. The bed was comfortable enough and the staff were on site. The elevator is out of service and we were offered no help with our suitcases to the 4th floor. The doors in the rooms have no lock on the inside besides the doorknob and no safe. The buffet breakfasts star highlight was the cereal bar. We decided to stay in for dinner one night and were not advised the restaurant is only open for two hours of dinner service with a course meal menu and a reservation is required. We managed to get a reservation 15 minutes before it closed and half the meal options were sold out. While being a cost effective option I wish I had spent the extra to stay somewhere else.

Obviously it’s a budget hotel- so we weren’t expecting much. Front desk staff were very friendly, but unfortunately they was the only upside of our stay. . Rooms are aged and worn looking. They’ve tried to add a coat of paint to spruce up the room, but it’s hard to overlook the stained carpets and dirty walls. Bed was incredibly uncomfortable. Elevator not working. Construction noise and scaffolding on the facade. The website shows beautiful and modern rooms which is quite misleading. Glad it was only a one-night stay. Perhaps they are renovating? Hope so.

Cleanliness and Ft William easily accessible. Work being done on hotel so scaffolding up, but workers finished at 5pm n view from hotel window not too obstructed.

A great locatiin, may look at bit rough on the ourside but the rooms are nice. The staff are amazing and very friendly.

The place is old and dirty, we only stay for one day. The toilet doesn't work at all. We went and told staff 3 times and they have done nothing to accommodate us. Either change rooom or fix the toilet . When we check out they haven't say a word to us.

This hotel would have been really nice when it was built. It is dated, and the bed was pretty old, but it was clean, convenient and reasonably priced. The breakfast was a very pleasant surprise: a full buffet with hot and cold options, and my table had a beautiful view of the loch.

Front desk staff was friendly, easy check in process. Our room smelled a little musty but we opened the window and that helped. Rooms were very dated and tired but it was clean. The bed was very hard, however I still slept good.

Excellent Hotel and a great Location
This is our third time at this Hotel Loch view Room very clean Bed comfortable and a great view. All Staff excellent and very helpful Breakfast and Dinner excellent also we book into this Hotel as we are one hour away from the beautiful five Beaches at Arisaig and they are stunning also we are near Corpach and the Caledonian Canal and Glen Nevis also Fort William Shopping Centre we will be back to this Hotel soon

I'd stay again.
I'm good condition and great value. Not the newest hotel but spacious, warm and comfortable. Very friendly and helpful staff. Sound travels fairly easily through the door and walks but not bad for the excellent price.

Good hotel for 1 night travelling through Scotland. Friendly staff. Unfortunately the hotel said that the lift was not accessible and had to carry large suitcases up multiple flights of stairs. Would be no good if you had mobility issues.
