"Overall this house was exactly what we needed for our large family vacation. The beach right at our doorstep, the shared pool, and the accommodations of the home made our stay great! Plus the beach was basically secluded so we loved that as well. Our idea of a great vacation is to sit at beach, take in the sun and fun, and make great memories with our family. "We LOVED our stay at Big Blue! This was our first time in Gulf Shores and the house set us up for the perfect 5 days at the beach. The host was proactively communicating with us, checked in on us after arrival, and was available if we had questions. The house was sparkling clean when we arrived. Everything is just as it appears in the pictures, maybe even better in real life. We were a group of adults with young kids, and everyone had plenty of room to spread out. The beds were comfortable for everyone (and we have a hard-to-please few in this department). The kitchen has everything you could possibly need to prepare meals, and everything was very clean. We spent a ton of time on the back porch, and the beach access is unbeatable - just a few steps between the dunes and you're there. We'll be back!"

"We came for our honeymoon! It's your home away from home! It's a cute cottage! The description fits perfectly. The hosts are so sweet! We got to meet them the second day! Shout out to Mrs Tina and Mr Joe! Sweetest couple you could ever meet! They provided everything down to a few dishwashing pods for the dishwasher. Towels and washcloths (which came in handy bc I forgot to pack more than two) for the bathroom. We loved fishing from the back deck to taking a break for lunch or dinner. We went down to fort Morgan Beach but the waves were to harsh to fish. Came back to the home, caught several! My husband caught a drum within the first 15 minutes of arrival! We love it here and def will be returning! "
