Essex House and Tavern
10/10 Excellent
"Lovely place"
The Barron Brook Inn
10/10 Excellent
"The inn was a perfect spot for my family while we were in New Hampshire. I am especially appreciative of the owners because I left a ring and bracelets without realizing and they made sure I was able to get them back as soon as I realized. Thank you so much!"
The Wildflower Inn

"Beautiful setting. Ample breakfast for $15. Very nice pool."
Mountain View Grand Resort & Spa
10/10 Excellent
"Our second time visiting this hotel and another amazing experience! All the amenities are great, especially if you’re coming with kids! My husband also golfed twice, so he’s happy as well!"
The Inn at OxBow Acres
10/10 Excellent
"The Inn At Oxbow Acres is wonderful!!! The scenery around you and the property itself is beautiful. There are horses, ponies, donkeys and chickens. Along with some friendly barn cats! The property inside and out is impeccably maintained, The hosts Maria and Brian are welcoming and friendly. The breakfast is among the best you will get anywhere!!! Loved our stay here and plan on returning. A great place to unplug from your daily hustle."
NORTHEAST KINGDOM AT NEALPOND VT
10/10 Excellent
"We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this beautiful slice of heaven! The cabin was super cozy, comfortable, clean and you can just feel all the love, care and thought consistently poured into it. The pond was a very short walk away and the peace and calm that washed over us was very much present all around. The kids fished, waddled, played on the trampoline and canoed - all provided by our amazing hosts! From the moment we arrived, Donna’s generosity and thoughtfulness were evident. She went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, was incredibly attentive without ever being intrusive, and made sure every detail of our stay was taken care of. Her warmth and genuine hospitality made the house feel like a home away from home! And the kids absolutely love her! Her warmth and kindness made such an impression on them, and she quickly became one of our favorite parts of the stay.We left feeling relaxed, grateful, and already eager to return. We highly recommend this place!"
Burke Mountain Hotel & Conference Center
10/10 Excellent
"The hotel room was large and comfortable with a huge bathroom and a small kitchenette. We had a view of Burke Mountain from our window. The hotel and facilities were well-maintained and had numerous amenities to enhance our stay. The resort was not very busy while we were there but there is limited parking at the hotel itself with an overflow lot a short distance away. I can see this being a problem for some guests during the busy season."
Northeast Kingdom Post and Beam home on Miles Pond VT
8/10 Good
"A lovely house across the street from large but quiet Miles Pond. We loved the access to two kayaks and a canoe and used them quite a bit, including to paddle to the small public beach at the end of the pond, where the swimming was much more pleasant and less rocky/weedy than at the house’s little dock. The two upper levels of the interior of the house are spectacular, including the two porches & many windows- open spaces with lots of light. The basement level (where you enter the house and which has the second bedroom) is pretty dark and scary with the walls covered in large antlered deer heads (ok, we are vegetarians, so this may have been more disturbing to us than most people). The downstairs bedroom is dark, tiny and has no windows, just big enough for the bed. Our grown daughter didn’t feel great in there, but managed.Overall though, a great place for a couple, the two upper levels are gorgeous, and the lake and boats are great. Easy access to St Johnsbury, which was nice on the rainy days."
3 Bedroom cabin on South Pond in Stark NH
