We were surprised to find out it was a motel when we arrived - nothing in the listing indicated that, we were expecting a hotel. But the room was reasonably clean (some spots on linens, sticky remote) and the free breakfast was very nice (waffles, sausage, eggs, assorted pastries and cereals). We checked in, our keys wouldn’t work, as I walked back to the front desk to attempt to talk to the manager on duty I walked by the laundry room door that was propped open and saw how disgustingly filthy the laundry room was and we left. No one ever came back to the front desk to help me after I stood there for 10 minutes. These reviews on here praising this “hotel” are absolutely false. The entire lobby smelt like old urine. Felt real safe in parking lot and in hotel, we have been staying at this hotel for years. The only thing we had a problem with is we were in room 102 facing expressway, so we heard the trucks go by all night and outside the room was a big spotlight that lighted up the building, but at night even with all the curtains closed, light came in the room, so it felt like it was daytime all night. I would just suggest to stay on other side of building.
