September in the Dolomites
Nice location to town, easy to drive in to the free parking. Breakfast was top notch. Rooms were big and comfortable. Easy to get to hiking.

Beautiful hotel in ideal location just outside Cortina d’ Aprezzano. The free breakfast was first rate and hotel staff were attentive and helpful.

Beautiful boutique hotel in the middle of the cobble stone streets of Rovijn town. Will definitely stay here again. Very helpful and nice staff. The hotel has so much charm and the rooms are done with lots of taste.

This property is wonderful. The staff were so helpful and accomodating. Breakfast was delicious. (We did not have any other food at the restaurant.) The location was absolutely beautiful and a relaxing afternoon at the jacuzzi was so serene. We did have our own car. I would imagine it would be more difficult to get around without one. There is a shuttle offered to and from town, but I dont know all the details about that. I do think its free or affordable.

This was the perfect spot for a group skiing the Dolomites! Free shuttle to town, breakfast and dinner included, pool, hot tub and amazing breakfast. The staff was so kind and helpful. Wonderful hotel and Cortina is beautiful.

My stay in Hotel Mirage
Hotel Mirage is well located in Cortina with easy access to various locations within a short drive. The location is perfect, away from noise and offers an excellent view. The staff are friendly and the daily dinner menu offers good food at a reasonable price. The staff at the restaurant are very friendly and helpful.

The hotel is beautifully designed, Alpine classic, with lovely rooms, comfortable beds, and everything you could possibly need. Location is great. The view is every bit as magical as the pictures make it seem. The staff were all so friendly and helpful. The food in their restaurant is amazing! Breakfast buffet was excellent!. We dined only one night and were impressed with the great service and the chef's creations. Thank you for a wonderful stay, and we plan to visit again in the future!

We absolutely loved our stay here. They were so accommodating and we enjoyed being close to Cortina’s center, but outside of its hecticness. The staff were all so friendly and helpful. The pool, jacuzzi and sauna were huge perks too. Oh, and the restaurant is delish. Highly recommend.

Great location with magnificent views
Lovely place to stay just outside Cortina. The hotel is very well presented with friendly staff. The views of the Dolomites are to die for!!

Friendly and welcoming hotel staff.
Cortina d'Ampezza offers a choice from a range of ski areas each starting from different base lifts. This slightly out of town hotel was great for accessing all these different areas of the resort - we started from different base lifts each morning.

Amazing Service, Food, Views of the Dolomites
The hotel service was incredible. Anna and Luigi, the managers, made everyone feel welcome and comfortable. They spoke several languages ( Italian/German/English) which made all foreign guests feel special and able to navigate the Italian customs with ease. The rooms are big with a comfortable bed, great views of the mountains. It is quiet at night and extremely peaceful. The food in their restaurant is AMAZING! Both breakfast and dinner. Don't miss it! We dined there most nights and were always impressed with the top notch service and the chef's creations. We would stay here again and highly recommend Hotel Mirage.

Definitely not a 4 star hotel. It barely deserves two stars. Very old and run down. Bathroom unbearably small and old. Very modest breakfast with absolutely no selection.

A wonderful stay in Dolomite mountains
A very agreeable location, very polite personal, good breakfast and a cuisine which was probably very good for Italians guests but a bit less agreeable for American taste. I had a dream 10 days holiday, in a beautiful landscape at a good hotel. Excellent general impression!

One night stay while biking in cortina. Hotel was wonderful, the breakfast and dinner was very good. Our hostess, Anna, was wonderful. A very English friendly staff. The room was large and quiet.

Charming Hotel in a wonderful place. Hotel is 5 minutes away from Cortina centre. Personally the location was perfect since you get more to appreciate the surrounding mountains, also a plus for parking. Lovely hotel staff!!! The only negative point was the wifi, which was very weak. Other than this I highly recommend

Wonderful setting.
Great service. The ground floor rooms have a lovely picnic table where you can sit and watch the sun set over the Dolomites and sip wine. The service is very friendly. Breakfast was great.

Wow. We are going back again
First time here. Wow, what a place. The owner soared no expense for tge feel of luxury. The staff us superb, the meals are well prepared. The rooms are large with plenty of storage - i mean seriously more then in a persons apartment. Rooms are with balconies which are pleasantly spacious. The only drawback is that there is one pool and it is only opened from 3-7 pm something i just don't understand. If you fo say hi to Zorro the dog. He lokes to greet people.

Great room and an amazing view. Our room was perfect for a family of 4 with an upstairs loft with two beds for our teenage boys. Front desk staff was fantastic. Free breakfast in the morning was not desirable. No fruit was offered. Many staff members other than the front desk needed a happy pill.

Outstanding--the management team is excellent, attentive and non-intrusive. All staff members were professional. Although unplanned, this was a "relaxing of the mind" stay and I extended my reservation for two days. The rooms are especially spacious with great mattresses and bedding. This hotel is best if you have a car; although, the bus service is available. Thanks for a great stay!

We had a lovely stay - all the staff were very friendly and helpful, our room was very clean and comfortable with a great view of the mountains and we felt very welcome. It is well located with an easy walk into town and we would definitely stay again.

We had short ski break in Cortina and stayed at the Mirage Hotel. The room was spacious and comfortable, designed in a cosy alpine rural style, lots of polished wood.

Friendly staff and charming mountain kitsch
We brought our small kids and the hotel couldn't have bent over backwards enough to help us. The family room is great, although the shower room is extremely small. Rooms haven't been renovated in a long time, but - and this is from a family which normally stays in 5 star hotels only - the rooms are charmingly mountain-kitsch, wood panelled and with great windows and huge outdoor terrace. Anna and Luigi are worth their weight in gold. I would recommend their hospitality, warmth and attention to service / detail over any other Cortina hotel. Mirage is an old fashioned elegant Cortina bolt hole with waiters in tuxedos and ladies in furs, but doesn't fail to make you feel welcome and relaxed even when you are wandering around in your ski long johns.

Hotel Mirage - 4 star hotel
I highly recommend this hotel to anyone especially families with children. Very good standard 4 star hotel. Food was good, and the hosts are very cordial. The swimming pool, restaurant and sledging outside the hotel are the things my boys will miss so much. During our stay we felt like it was our home, we were given personalized attention.

Nice hotel away from town center
Pros - has excellent free shuttle to take you to ski lifts or Cortina town center. Restaurant does have very good food at a fair price. Full breakfast - not just croissant and coffee. Our room was large - very comfortable for 2 people - same for bathroom. Staff were very helpful. (the walk along the path in to town is very pleasant_ Cons - the pool and jacuzzi are only open from 3 - 7 pm each day - and they are located right outside the bar area where others can look straight into the jacuzzi - absolutely no privacy - we didn't use either the pool or jacuzzi and had been looking forward to that after skiing.

Nice hotel, staff try hard to make stay enjoyable
Arrived a day late due to flight disruptions and missed connection, but hotel staff were very helpful and accommodating, room was spacious and comfortable with great balcony and fantastic views. Bed very comfortable with lovely linen. Breakfasts were lovely, lots of nice things to eat, could be taken leisurely or early, if needed. Manager's pre dinner drinks and nibbles before supper were a nice touch.

Excellent in every way! Close to town. Convenient, I'm glad I had a car. People are very friendly. It helps to speak Italian, but not necessary. Our deal didn't include diner, but after a great experience on the first night, we stayed in almost every other night.

Amazing staff and hotel. The shuttle service to main city center is great and saves a lot of money. The are very flexible with the shutte and will take you multiple times. Amazing food at the resturant. One thing we found out new was we cannot eat outside food in the hotel. One day we decided to not go out for dinner as we were tired after skiing all day and didnt want to dine at the hotels restaurant either (had dined there two days already), so we picked up Pizza from a nice pizza from city center and were eating at the lounge where they serve evening drinks. The manager of the hotel came and said it is 'Forbidden' to eat outside food in bar area or EVEN IN YOUR ROOM !! I was shocked, so we are suppose to eat everyday at the same restaurant in hotel or just go out ? we cant get take away food and eat in our room eaither ???? WOW that was new ! The hotel is otherwise amazing and staff very helpful and sweet.

Hotel Mirage - wonderful for families
We booked online then read mixed reviews about this hotel and wondered if we'd made a mistake but....... Hotel mirage was a fantastic place to stay with children. We had a 2 floor spacious suite. The staff were friendly and extremely helpful. The location was beautiful. We enjoyed relaxing in the pool and hot tub after walks on the mountains. The children were delighted with their bedtime chocolates! Thank you. We are already planning a return trip
