    Peaceful

Lovely working mill in a small village. Sandra and Richard are great hosts and very knowledgable of the areas plus cook a great breakfast. Not in walking distance to any restaurants or pubs short taxi ride. Very close to the village of Fordingbridge where there are three pubs serving food plus a very nice Italian restaurant. The mill is very central for sight seeing and about half an hours drive to the coast, we had a lovely 3 day break and will return.

      Quaint water mill

Picturesque setting lovely old mill, friendly welcome by owners. Room a reasonable size but dated, W suite is small if tall or slightly large now much room to sit on loo, breakfast was a pleasure love locally cooked ingredients and homemade bread nice selection of cereals and fresh fruit salade

      Lovely Rural B&B

Peace and quiet in the south of England. Run by a friendly, older couple.

Pros: Idyllic grounds. Hearty English breakfast!

Cons: If you you are in a hurry to get anywhere, this is not your place. The narrow, winding lanes require cautious driving, but that's part of the charm.

Location: We used it as a base to visit Bath, Winchester, and Stonehenge.
