Accommodating staff, facility somewhat flawed.
The hotel's website and its name present it as a beachfront hotel. But the beach is A TINY PUBLIC BEACH next door, not on hotel property, there is a lot of coral that prevents you from entering the water except in a small spot, and it is very crowded. We did not use the beach, but drove to Bahia Honda state park, which was very nice. Though an hour away, it was worth the drive.
Our room faced an active street, not the beach, and the rooms that face the water are also exposed to a noisy bar that stays open late.
The Air Conditioning unit was adequate, but for some mysterious reason it didn't extract humidity from the air. Our room smelled moldy, and though it was cool, the humidity felt higher than outdoors. Wet clothing didn't dry during a three day stay!
