"Hidden gem in Key West"
My wife and I had never been to the Florida Keys so this vacation we were determined to go. We decided to spend a night so we searched for a local hotel and saw the Parrot Key. We were intrigued by the photos as well as the 4.3 rating. We went ahead and booked our night at a very reasonable rate. When we arrived we were taken back by the stately charm of the resort. The staff was very friendly and hooked us up with an incredible room with a water view. As we strolled though the walkways to our unit we were amazed by the vegetation all around us. It looked like a rain forest with all these white picket fences running through it, amazing! Once we reached our unit and settled in we realized that we wanted to stay another night so we booked it. They were so accomodating to keep us in the same room. The view was incredible, like a postcard. Lets not forget about the amazing pools and poolside restaurant, WOW! Yes pools. I believe there were at least 4 pools and one was designated just for adults. Don't worry about noisy kids or other adults because it was very tranquil and relaxing. We will definately be back!

The best part is the closeness to beach and water! The rooms and lobby are bare bones! Mirrors over sinks better than over toilets! No explanation on ac. As thought it did not exist! No info to speak except bare bones on one paper on facilities! Steps needed paint! Luggage racks ? Great surprise good meal by Italian chef and homemade taramiso! It was exactly what I wanted for. Quiet except for thin walls and very busy neighbors that woke us at 6 am! Just needs some tweaking

"Nice hotel but beach wasn't comfortable"
Beach is shared with public and isn't a big beach so feel packed in. Also don't agree with hotel $20 parking fee every day of your stay.

"Short Walk Downtown. Schooner Wharf Next Door"
Hotel is very expensive but so is all of Key West . The valet guy was kind of weird when he asked me my room number I had forgotten it and it was in my pocket. He then said to me what you've been here five minutes and you already forgot your room number. Outside of that the rest of the staff was very friendly and helpful. My only complaint is that I wish the balconies were more private with a better View. The next time we come to Key West we will try to stay at the Marker.

"Nice hotel, close to the beach. "
Love the hotel and all the amenities, only down was that they didn't had enough staff at the tiki bar by the pool and we ended up waiting a while to order drinks

"Great Access to the Florida Keys"
Our reservation for 5 days was prepaid. Upon arrival, they couldn't find our reservation but because we prepaid (with receipt) they shuffled things and gave us a suite on the canal instead of a regular room with a view of the parking lot. This switch made all the difference in the world. We used the hotel as a base for our exploring the Florida Keys and each evening we sat on the balcony and watched the marine travel in the canal. Very pleasant. The suite was quite outdated but was clean.

"Great place"
The A/C was the most quiet I have ever heard (not heard). The staff was super nice. There is a nice beach just across the road.
