Criminal Owners - Horrible Hotel
This was the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. My friend (who lives in the direct area) would visit the hotel while I was getting ready to go out for the day (I.e. wait for me to eat breakfast, change, etc.). At the end of the trip, the aggressive owners insisted that I pay $200 for his "visits". When I refused to pay the excessive bill, the owner attempted to rip my luggage out of my hands. After I got my bag back, he threatened me and walked towards me while brandishing a knife. These owners should be arrested. On-top of that, the hotel had poor conditions, lots of bugs, bad housekeeping, poor wifi, and a horrible breakfast.
These accusations are very serious. We believe that you have confused the hotel in which you stayed. We have no record or memory of anything like this happening here.

We can only say that our rooms are cleaned by experienced professionals, trained by ABIH (Brazilian Association of the hotel industry). The flush problem was a fatality which was resolved at the same time. We are an economic category of hotel, we charge the value of a hotel of this category, economic hotel. Our breakfast has more than 25 kinds of products, is praised by the best nutritionists, many experienced travelers tell us that our breakfast is very close to the four-star hotels breakfasts.

Good location, friendly staff...
The hotel is pretty nice, it's a small hotel and they include breakfast. The area is good with bars and restaurants and some nightlife. It is also an affordable hotel, so don't expect luxury as a 5 star hotel. Over all, it is a nice place to stay for an affordable price.

Near everything - modest but nice
The staff were nice. You will barely scrape by if you don't speak Portuguese, but that's okay - I used my phrase book and managed. Breakfast was very nice. Room was quite basic, but suited my needs. A few hangers would have been nice in the closet space (there were none). This is located near the "main drag" of the Lagoa da Conceição area, at the opposite end from Lagoa town - if you had to walk to Lagoa, it would take you about 20 minutes. To walk to Praia Mole would also take you about 20-25 mins (and you have to walk up a very steep hill). However, this is a good location, and there are bars and restaurants close by. The staff were friendly. No safe in the room, but they have one at the front desk, and they carefully list everything you give them, and note when you add or remove an item. There is adequate parking if you get a car. I found taxis hard to come by on the island - certainly none to flag down - you have to call them. I ended up renting a car. This is a good basic hotel, and the staff are nice. No room service, but you can buy soft drinks at the front desk. There is also a fridge in the room. Wi-Fi is free and a little intermittent (like a lot of Internet in Brazil) but you can get by.

Nice and calm hotel in a dead end street. The breakfast is really good. Walking distance to both beach ( Praia Joaquina) and the "city" of Lagoa. Bus stop really close to the hotel. The rooms are simple, but satisfying.

This hotel was very very standard to say the least! The rooms so so, and not well appointed. I got n electric shock off the power Lint and the electric shower had exposed wires above it. The owners/ managers were not keen to assist in any way because of the language barriers. They even charged me $2.50 to call a taxi to the airport. There aren't phones in the rooms to do it yourself!

Localização e café da manhã muito bom, únicos pontos que decepcionaram um pouco foi não ter limpeza diária nos quartos, não falo nem em questão de limpeza mas em questão de reposição de papel higiênico por exemplo, porém quando solicitamos fomos prontamente atendidos, e o outro ponto que desagradou um pouco é que o quarto estava com um forte cheiro de mofo, tirando esses dois fatos no geral foi uma estadia muito agradável, o pessoal que trabalha no hotel é bastante prestativo.

O quarto é grande, confortável. Estava bem limpinho quando cheguei, fui bem atendida pelo João. Estava cheirando um pouco de mofo, porém abrimos a janela e ficamos bem. O hotel fica a poucos minutos da praia Joaquina que é perfeita, pagamos 10 reais para estacionar próxima a praia, o estacionamento próprio da praia era 6,90 a hora. Tem bons restaurantes e comidas diferentes.. No geral foi muito bom!!

Estuvimos durante 14 días y el hotel se encuentra estratégicamente ubicado dado que se encuentra realmente cerca (20 minutos caminando) de praia mole y algo similar de joaquinha! Además está a metros del paseo costero de la Lagoa y de bares y restaurantes! La atención y limpieza estuvo siempre correcta!

A localização é muito boa porém os quartos não condizem tão bem quanto a foto mostrada, o banheiro é EXTREMAMENTE pequeno. O café da manhã é FRACO! Os travesseiros são baixos. A limpeza e hospitalidade são bons, há espaço para estacionar, é seguro porém peca muito em alguns quesitos. O custo-benefício no geral não valeu a pena. A única coisa que me agradou foi que a janela do banheiro dava para uma área de pasto com estábulo e eu pude ver algumas vaquinhas fofas circulando.
