"The staff was very helpful. The view of the lake was awesome. The hotel was quiet and peaceful overall. We could hear loud club music from another hotel or restaurant nearby but I was still able to sleep. An easy 10 minute walk to restaurants on Flores island. They let us check out late which was very helpful. Would recommend this hotel to anyone!"

"I rate this property 10 out of 10 for what it is. But people may dislike it for what it isn’t. It’s a jungle lodge. It’s in the jungle. If you don’t want to be awakened by howler monkeys at 5am, don’t stay here. If you want A/C or consistent electricity, don’t stay here. If you want WiFi in your room, don’t stay here. But if you want to stay in a clean, well kept property in the middle of the jungle with an attentive staff and great food that’s only steps away from one of the greatest Mayan cities of all time, stay here! It’s amazing!"

"it was a great experience being in the middle of the jungle and yet feel safe! Loved the spider monkeys and the hawker monkeys! Staff was cordial and very nice!"

"Lovely stay here and would recommend. But it would help if hotel put prices up by 10% to negate the stealth tip tax at the end which was added after signing off individual meal and drink bills. Would rather sort my own tips out. Picky but irritating."

"The staff are wonderful, as is the location. So close to the airport and town, but feeling like you are in the middle of nowhere in the jungle. Beautiful cabins, perfect design. My favourite hotel. "
