Hotel was ok but the rooms are old. Granny bedding and coverlets for pillow cases. Pillows old and thin. Sheets are old. Hot water took forever. No English speaking staff which was odd for a tourist area. Decent location but that part of town is not very clean.

The hotel was clean and well kept. Front desk managers we accommodating . I check out left my luggage and came back after a day at Tikal . I was able to get a room to rest and shower before my flight back to Guatemala City. I enjoyed Flores it was a small town with traditional sites and souvenirs- I ate at a few places - very reasonable- the hotel front desk always gave me average pricing for taxied, tok told and any local price I needed.

The hotel was not what we expected. The room we received was subpar. The small extendable mirror was dangling from the wall in the bathroom. The front desk person didn't seem concerned about it when told and didn't offer to have it repaired. The bathroom smelled of sewage after showering. Not pleasant at all. The bedding was dingy. The pool is located in an awkward area - between the party room and the dining area. Not ideal. Dinner at the restaurant was at best ok. Nothing to write home about. There's a restaurant across the street as well as a creperie. Down the road there is a fast food restaurant and a supermarket.

Rooms look tired and dated. Surfaces on furniture worn and chipped. Floors had stains. We had to use the decorative bed pillows to sleep. Slow wi-fi. We used the pool, but had nasty chlorine smell (which I know are called chloramines which are not good for you). It had some nasty foam on the corners and it was not crystal clean. We decided to get out after just a few minutes. Nice architecture and freshly painted outside. Breakfast was decent. Service was slow on the waterfront bar. We didn’t like the big concrete bench that blocks the view to the lake and the beautiful Flores island from the pool. It may be practical, but definitely doesn’t help the ambiance.

The staff was really friendly. I needed to book an additional night when I arrived and were really helpful. The facilities are really clean. The rooms are comfy. It was near all the places I needed to go.

Amazing room with amazing service
I wish I could have extended my stay as I thoroughly enjoyed it at this hotel. The room was spacious with a large TV, desk, cold A/C, and balcony overlooking the lake. I used the table/chairs on the deck to work from during the day and the internet was quick. The common area lounge areas and pool were perfect for relaxing. The staff was very helpful and accommodating. They even helped me arrange a shuttle to Belize City and pointed me in the direction of an ATM.

Pros: -Good value -View of the island (best from the terrace seating area where they are happy to serve you from the bar/restaurant) -Location walkable to the Island, and to the mall (which has the town’s main grocery store) -Friendly and accommodating staff (if you can manage the language barrier, as English is not spoken) Cons: -Dated condition (e.g. clogged shower heads due to calcification buildup) -Inconsistent hot water in showers -Jacuzzi (though in a beautiful courtyard with a view of the island) was only heated on one of the three nights that we were there (and even then, just barely) -Exchange rate offered is awful (if you need to use USD), so suggest having sufficient quetzal in cash before arrival -Restaurant food leaves something to be desired. Price is good, but I’d still recommend walking to the Island to eat, or using the street-taco stand on the corner. Overall good value for money. Consider the Wyndham on the island as a close alternative.

Nice location ,water views, well kept very nice staff,good 1 restaurant,great service,good food,good prices will have to go out for more choices, nice size room with balcony ,quiet only drawback was a light mildew smell that seems to come from A/C unit it cool the room good maybe needed maintenace would have been a perfect stay if it wasn't for the smell that I got used to after a few minutes but wife couldn't ....pool didn't seem clear enough maybe because of openness ...overall a good stay

Nice option on Lake Peten
Nice, new hotel on Lake Peten, just a 10 minute walk from Flores. It was clean, comfortable, and included a delicious breakfast.

NIce, clean, comfortable hotel. Great staff, good breakfast. Close to mall with ATM if you need to withdraw cash, although the hotel also exchange money for a very good rate.

This hotel is perfect to enjoy Flores without being in the middle of the cramped town. Beautiful property just steps away frol the bridge to fFlores, great amenities, professional staff and peaceful. Highly recommend it

Overall, this is a fairly modern and comfortable hotel with a friendly staff, a nice lake view and a good restaurant. It's was very clean and the air conditioning and bathroom facilities worked well. If the beds were a little more comfortable and the room a little quieter it would rate as excellent rather than very good.

Beautiful hotel
Really nice hotel with a beautiful lake front location. Great breakfast was included as well. Amazing pool and lounge area made us wish we stayed we stayed more nights. Only downside was a twin bed for an adult couple to share, that or we slept in separate beds
