The hotel was ok, clean and tidy but the annex area where I stayed had very little soundproofing- you could hear everything in the room next door and the main door slamming. The bed was quite hard too and also short (I’m 5ft5 and my legs were at the end). I expected to be in the main hotel as I hadn’t booked the annex but perhaps it doesn’t matter what you book. Breakfast was pretty poor and the food was clearly out all morning with no chilling or proper heat for eggs etc. location wise, an ok walk into central but a good 20 mins. A decent hotel but I wouldn't say 4 stars.

Enrico at the front desk was extremely helpful and courteous. The facilities are very clean. Breakfast is delicious. Walkable to most historic places that you would want to see in Florence. Train station is a 15 to 20 minute walk.

Enrico at the front desk was very helpful. The room, bathroom, amenities, breakfast and spa are excellent. Very attentive staff, beautiful hotel. Only 20-25 minute walk to the heart of the city.

We loved our stay at this Palazzo Lorenzo. The building was beautiful. Our room was very nice. Breakfast was tasty and the staff was friendly. The spa was included with our room that we booked and it was really worth it. You get it all to yourself with a reservation. The only things that I would say would have made our stay better would be if it was a little bit closer to the main attractions of Florence. It’s like a 25-30 minute walk to the duomo. Which isn’t bad but rough when you’re coming back at the end of a long day. Also the comforter in the room was very thin. Other than that we loved our stay!

The staff were very helpful and friendly. Unfortunately our air conditioning did not work the entire time and as there was a heatwave at the time this was a bit disappointing. The staff were kind enough to offer us a fan which did help us sleep, however I felt given the circumstances it would have been great if the faulty air conditioner was followed up during our stay as it would have made us far more comfortable.

Lovely Florentine building with a small outside courtyard where you could also eat breakfast. We booked our 50 minute Spa slot and it was great. We had the whole spa to ourselves. The young man at reception was very helpful unlike the young lady who did not seem to want to help with anything we asked. The hotel will offer you parking at 25euro a nigh. But there is a 24 hour car park just a few minutes walk away which Charges 15 euro. Also you can park for fee on a Sunday and after 8pm in a blue parking bay in the streets. Florence is not a driver friendly city. The historic centre is not open to non resident cars so be careful where you drive as you would get a fine if you drive through into those areas. The hotel breakfast was nice but very sloppy scrambled eggs with no option for an alternative. Rooms and linen very clean. You can walk into the city in about 20 minutes. If I returned to Florence I would stay again in this hotel.

We can walk to tourist spots about 20 min and 15 mins to Florence SMN station. It’d be fine during the mornings or evenings in sunny days.

Fab hotel
Beautiful hotel, staff were very helpful , gave great local recommendations. Spa is fantastic, def worth including in your trip. About a 20 min walk to the centre.

We stayed for 4 nights in May 2023 and the hotel was just want we wanted. A brief walk into the hustle and bustle of town but quiet around the hotel. The Spa was fantastic as well.

Highly recommend. This is a little jewel off the beaten path. Is a quick walk or taxi to all the major attractions. The hotel decor is well appointed and eclectic. The condition is excellent as is the staff. I would choose to stay there again.

From the moment I arrived I had a really friendly greeting, nothing was too much trouble, and the team were amazingly helpful. On my last day I couldn't find the number for my hotel pickup, whilst I was out for the day a member of the team found the contact number and organized my pickup. They were fantastic and made my stay memorable and I would definitely go back again and stay at this hotel.

Suprise hem of a hotel. Suprise sunny courtyard and quiet respite inside of a busy Florence downtown. Excellent and accommodating front desk staff. Easy walk to Duomo and leather markets.delicious and included breakfast with our stay! Highly recommend!!

Good quiet location about 20 min walk from city centre. Staff is very attentive. We had a few issues with the room on check in but the staff literally bent over backwards (and let us know that they were) to make us happy. Spa is very nice. Would recommend.

The property has beautiful architecture and charming grounds including a grapefruit tree. A grand entrance and staircase yet with all the most modern facilities including lift, spa, wifi etc. I have stayed at this excellent hotel twice and the bedrooms are a individual, graceful serene and peaceful. The staff could not be more helpful, providing advice, directions, maps and masks as we are still in Covid times, always smiling and a warm friendly greeting, particularly to someone such as myself who speaks no Italian. Highly recommended for a wonderful stay in a gorgeous City. As a keen walker, the location of the Palazzo Lorenzo is ideal for a short walk to all the amazing tourist areas.

So nice to stay at such an elegant, comfortable, clean and quiet hotel. Really appreciated the daily maid service during these times. Spa was lovely - good Covid precautions. Breakfast could be more substantial, but the eating area was nice. There is an enclosed garden patio and stately lounging room for relaxing

Amazing property with fantastic staff
The greeting we received upon arrival was fantastic. The two young men working at reception went well out of their way to answer our questions and assist us in finding places to dine (which were excellent). Housekeeping staff were always friendly, greeted us with a smile daily and kept everything perfectly clean. Very well run hotel! We'd definitely stay here again and being hotel owners ourselves can say that this place is very special

Very nice hotel
Very nice hotel. We had a room that faced the street but the windows are very good and could not hear traffic. The hotel is updated and very clean. The service at the front desk and the restaurant were fantastic. The location is about a half mile, maybe 1 mile, to the main museums and the Duomo.

Amazing hotel and spa
Beautiful hotel and spa! Great service, staff extremely friendly. Very tasty breakfast outside in a patio or inside. Hotel is not in a center, but in a nice quiet neighborhood, only 15 min on a taxi from the historical center. Very convenient.
