The Place is now my favorite hotel in Europe! The staff could not have been more kind, attentive and helpful. When our flight was cancelled, they arranged for a hotel in another city, train tickets and transportation. The dining room is exceptional, breakfast was delicious and the rooms charming. But it is the outstanding staff that makes this hotel so exceptional!

Paid nearly $2000 for a one night stay and the property did not reflect the price tag. On the morning of our departure, while breakfast started at 7:30am and we came down after 8am, it appeared that no one was even ready to start their work day until well after. After being seated, waited at least 10-15mins before anyone came to offer a menu. Coffee was terrible, breakfast marginal at best. Not a 5 star level experience by any means.

The property is beautiful, comfortable and centrally located. The service and staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The breakfast was delicious with many choices. I cannot say enough good things about this special property and highly recommend it.

Not only is The Place Firenze a beautiful home away from home, but the level of care they provide is without rival. Lorenzo in particular went out of his way to help us with issues ranging from COVID testing issues to booking fantastic restaurants. Carmen was helpful and warm as well, as were the restaurant staff who made us feel welcome and in a home away from home. Fantastic food and ambience at both the hotel and the restaurant as well. This was not our first stay at The Place Firenze and will certainly not be our last. Ann and Bill

Impeccably curated hotel
Elegantly decorated throughout the entire property and impeccably curated in every detail. Very pricey food and drink menu but acceptable for this range of hotel. Worth every penny. Will definitely return on my next trip to Florence.

Excellent service and such a stylish place. Attention to detail is super sharp. Great General Manager, he was very welcoming and engaging, his whole team was equally wonderful. Really recommend this hotel if in Florence. Will be back for sure !

We got to the hotel during the Covid19 crises and the staff could not be more comforting, personable and supportive. It’s super luxury Finishings and furnishings and superb bedding are perfection. Just like it’s Capri location very well designed and serviced. Andrea who just started at the hotel that same week could not do enough for us as well as the whole staff. Outstanding Boutique Hotel
We travel often and typically stay in the Bonvoy group as I’m an elite Ambassador level and we stay in luxury collection, Ritz Carlton or St Regis. We appreciate outstanding service, unique and quality design, and comfortable beds with crisp linens. We were on a cruise in Italy and booked this last minute stay in Florence becase the St Regis and W were booked, and wow we were lucky to find this amazing boutique hotel, in an outstanding location, that exceeded our expectations. We were greeted by Giarda who arranged for our car to be taken to the garage and escorted us to the beautiful sitting room to settle in with complimentary Prosecco as our bags were delivered to our room. I happened to mention it was my birthday in passing and shortly after a berry tart with a simple candle was delivered. Our room, which was the last available and smallest in the hotel, was beautiful, clean and the bed was super comfortable (think Simmons beds at four seasons and a few steps up from the heavenly bed). It was the first time we had slept on linen sheets and they were wonderful. Giarda offered to have them changed with percale but we chose to try them andcwere galas we did. The bathroom was upstairs with no tub, but had a bidet and was well designed. Breakfast included was fantastic. A wonderful buffet and they offered freshly cooked omelette s or eggs as well. The restaurant recommendation 13 Gobbi was excellent and the checkout was a breeze. We will definitely stay at JK place again.

Wish we could have stayed longer!
My husband and I recently stayed in this beautiful small hotel. We were warmly welcomed personally by Lucca immediately upon our arrival a most delightful gentleman who showed us around the hotel, helped with restaurant reservations and planned our day for us in Florence. The hotel is simply beautiful, extremely classy with a delightful eating/drinking area outside and amazing staff. We hope to return.

Feeling disappointed
Overall my stay was good. But I was disappointed as I expected much more. I booked a room with “courtyard views” but no where did the description mention that the windows face into a hallway and then a courtyard- with no external windows. This is my worst nightmare and I never would have booked a room without natural light. I also had issues with the air conditioning as it was super loud. When I complained the hotel simply turned it off until I called back and asked them to come up and look at it. I still really don’t understand that. I guess I expected a lot more from one of the top rated hotels in Florence.

It was a wonderful boutique hotel so friendly and welcoming with beautiful decor. Lots of nice touches by the staff with fruit and chocolates in the rooms or great guidance on food and wine in the restaurant. Even when we had to leave early for tour the staff prepared breakfast boxes for us. The location is also great.

Left Me With All Smiles
I had a very pleasurable stay at J.K. Palace. It is in a great location with wonderful restaurants, shopping, and sites nearby; Florence in general is very walk-able. I would describe the hotel as very upscale, comfortable, and posh with wonderful, attentive service. Breakfast is wonderful - you can't beat the fresh squeezed blood orange juice and the friendly service of Lili, who made each breakfast more sublime than the last. While my room was small, it had everything I needed, including comfortable linen sheets, plenty of plugs for devices, a shower with great pressure, a bidet, etc. I enjoyed room service for dinner one night, and it was delicious and served quickly. The hotel also offered a portable WiFi device for use while out and about, which was smart and appreciated. Those who attended to my room left fruit every day, and arranged some flowers that I received at the Gucci Museum nicely in a vase. I love and notice these small touches. The 'concierge' was fabulous too. All around, I highly recommend J.K. Place Firenze and look forward to eventually visiting other properties.

If you go to Florence, stay at JK Place. This was our fourth visit to Florence, but first stay at JK Place. It will not be our last stay there. The staff are phenomenal in making guests feel welcome and pampered. Rooms are very clean and comfortable. Location of hotel makes walking to just about anywhere in Florence easy. The well appointed seating areas are very comfortable. I felt at home. We highly recommend this hotel.

Wonderful small hotel
This is a beautiful small hotel in a convenient, safe and beautiful location. The service is top notch. They will take very special care of you. The standard room decor is lovely but the rooms are very small opening up to a small courtyard without a view. There are some larger rooms/ suites looking out to the plaza.
