Breakfast variety the best I have ever had at a hotel buffet. Wonderful pastries and scrambled eggs as well as savory and cereals . Held luggage till 8p so simplified the day to tour. Allowed earlier check in at noon and check out 11a. Room renovated. Simple tasteful. The spa looked great. Few blocks from station made it so simple to get transit to Rome and elsewhere to uffizi etc. close to money exchange no fees and fair rate as well as hostels where there are bars. Great for families or groups.elevator and when finished a veranda with views.

Big room. Nice breakfast. WiFi doesn’t work in rooms. Booked here for the spa and was told on check in that there was no spa. That was pretty lame.

The property location is close to every main attraction. The hotel room needs better maintenance as the room smelled musty. The air conditioner would also turn off automatically and we had to call the lobby multiple times to make sure it was on. Overall the staff was friendly and the breakfast was excellent.

Four nights, ok bed, ok elevator, ok breakfast. Easy to get to Florence Train Station and to the tour busses, and an easy walk to David and Uffizi art museum.

Everything was great with this hotel, only one night there was a party next door because the hotel is situated next to a hotel and bar, my room was on top of the bar . We would have changed room, but because we were leaving in 2 days we decided to stay and it worked out well. The owner was willing to change our room which was very nice of him. Great staff.

There were bed bugs in the room. We found a bed bug running in the pillow in the morning (see the attached picture). Reported to the owner but instead of apologizing he just made excuses. The room we stayed was very smelly like sewage smell. Hotel refused to change the room when we reported it. There is a next door bar which is extremely loud every night till 3-4am.

Great customer service!!
It was a basic but comfortable stay in a good location. But the customer service was exceptional! We had to leave really early in the morning to catch our flight and they arranged for a taxi to pick us up, and even packed a bag of sandwiches, drinks and snacks for our journey.

Hotel Mia Cara's front desk person when we arrived was fabulous! He was very friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable--the beds were hard, which we like, and the pillows were firm. Maid service came every day. Things in the room were not in great condition, and a few things mysteriously broke during our stay (when we weren't there, I think when the maid was cleaning, as it was the shower handle and toilet bowl brush). Construction was happening on the floor below us, so it was loud during the day, and the street outside was very noisy at night due to the bar next door, and early morning, due to people setting up their shops. Breakfast had a wide range of choices, which was a definite perk of staying here! It's close to the train station and walking distance to many desirable locations, especially the Duomo.

This hotel is in a nice location. About 2-3 min walk from the train station. Neighborhood is safe. Many restaurants nearby. The condition of the place leaves much to be desired. Internet consistently broke around 10pm in the evening for instance. bathroom feels small. There's room for improvement.

Great Location Near The Station
Hotel Mia Cara is located a 5 min walk from Florence main station. Check in was quick and the staff recommended us a fantastic restaurant just a couple of mins walk towards the centre. The room was okay for 4 people but all 4 of us did end with mosquito bites which was a surprise for November. Would recommend staying here.

Family owned budget hotel..v. very close to S.M.N.Station...4-5 mins walking distance to DUOMO..rooms are big with running hot water..breakfast is good with both hot n cold options..complimentary water n Coffee 24 hrs..with microwave to heat your own food.. overall a place to trust for family vacations..

The hotel is in a great place for getting around and is a short walk from the train station. The majority of the tourist sites are within a short walk and there are several great restaurants nearby. The hotel staff were able to help with several of our requests making our trip much easier, especially as my husband got a pretty bad cold while staying there. The rooms are well equipped and the breakfast has quite a few options so everyone should be able to find something.

Hotel Mia Cara was a welcome stay whilst in Florence (especially as I caught a horrible chest infection travelling to Europe). The staff were extremely helpful and happy to assist with any queries. They offer a laundry service which was GREAT after a week of travelling. Wi-fi in the hotel was great. Lifts on site which was a welcome change. Bed was super comfy too. Room and bathrooms were very clean and spacious - even had a small bar fridge to keep drinks or snacks cool. Air conditioner in room was brilliant. Location of this hotel was perfect, as only a short walk from the train station - trust me, with luggage it makes things ALOT easier - and very close to a lot of tourist spots and places to eat. Breakfast was fantastic - hot and cold options ranging from a variety of egg options, yoghurts, pastries, cereals... They had a bit of everything and was delicious. Would highly recommend Hotel Mia Cara.

Mia Cara was a fine enough hotel. It’s waliking distance from the train station, but you’ll still need a cab if you’re wheeling luggage because the roads are stone and difficult to navigate with luggage.

Bravo Hotel Mia Cara
Great location from the Santa Maria Novella train station. The hotel is located on a street close to the restaurants, Central Market, and the historical sites. The breakfast buffet had a great variety of food choices, coffees and teas! The hotel staff was helpful, especially Francesca! The only complaint is that the shower in our room was too small and one could hardly move within the close confines! Otherwise, we highly recommend Hotel Mia Cara!

Wonderful staff and location
Staff was very friendly, and very walkable from the train station and to several of the popular sights. Plenty of great restaurants just a couple minutes walking as well. The hot breakfast foods were just ok (not very hot at the end of breakfast service) but we were able to grab some pastries before breakfast started the day we left early to the train station. I was also able to fill my water from the juice /water machine through the day/night time as well.

The front desk clerk was accommodating and very nice. She offered to help us find a nice restaurant as it was our anniversary. The breakfast offered by the hotel was average. The room was small. Disappointing that in order to get ice, you have to go across the street to a bar. The room temperature was very warm! They have to keep the room between 22-25C. After spending all day in 90+F weather, walk-in 10 miles I really wanted to be able to cool off and not perspire all night long and not sleep well. It is a very convenient location for the train, shopping and dining.
