Pros: Wide stairway, large lobby, breakfast room
Cons: Showers need to be upgraded, grout redone add shower doors instead of curtain
Location: Duomo church down the street, museums banks, restaurants
Nice staff, variety of food at breakfast, near everything for tourists, nice, safe street, Disney store downstairs.

Convenient

The hotel was typical of the area. Air conditioning does not really cool, but definitely better than no AC. Hair dryer was a bear to use because of position on wall. But overall, a nice hotel to experience Florence!

Nice location / very small

Posted 05-Aug-2016 on Hotels
The hotel is located on the upper floors of a multi-story building. It's a bit hard to find, but you'll get there. The location of the hotel is absolutely fabolous, right next to the famous Duomo of Florence. All the sightseeing attraactions are within walking distance, and right next to the hotel is the shopping streets. Of course there are also a lot of restaurants and cafés nearby. The rooms itself are very very small, and not in the best condition. The beds are tiny, as well as the bathroom. You can have a breakfast in the hotel, but the choice is small, so I would recommend to go to an old town café in the morning instead. For just a few nights, the hotel is great. But I would not stay longer then 3 or 4 nights.

Great hotel

Posted 03-Jun-2016 on Hotels
We thjthought having the car was going to be a problem as it is in a pedestrianised area. We pulled up outside, traffic police checked us but allowed us. The staff at the hotel sorted out a very efficient valet to park the car and fetch it when we needed it. Brilliant friend my staff. Thank you.

It suited our need of a place to sleep just fine, but it was no-frills, outdated, and there was mold in the shower. Location was great, though.

We drove to the hotel right off duomo square !! But their directions worked and once we had enough confidence we did it -they had a garage comr get the car for $25 a day. We had a very quiet room on the back - except for the church bells which were impressive! hotel is right in the middle of everything. Not the grandest place we stayed but the location makes up for a lot. Staff nice. Signs screwy for entrance - they are in 3rd floor and there is an elevator

Good location in the central part of the city. Glad I had a room that didn't face the street, things can be noisy at night. Great WIFI and ok breakfast
